I love my printer. I use it every day to print out my daily planner,ll as the weekly and monthly planner. Built in templates are great. I can print from my cell phone. It scans without jamming, paper tray fits great and it is doesn't make a lot of noise. I highly recommend this machine if you are the average consumer as myself.
Right out of the box was easy to set-up specially he printer connection - both with printer cable and internet. I only have 1 small negative item about the unit - that is the paper out feed tray is not long enough to prevent the out paper from going on the floor. The 2 sided option is really easy to use and is great on all options of the printer.
My son set this up for me in a breeze. Nice to have young children for us old folks. He said it was easy and we have used it a few times with no problems. Seems to work great, but just know we have only used it for about a month. So far, we are well pleased.
I have two other Brother Printers (Laser) at the office. They are ten years old & still going strong! Brother always stands behind their products. Always Tech Support! You can't go wrong with a Brother! This is why we purchased this one!

I was not happy in the quality. Looks like I substituted space wise for quality. I feel flimsy is a good description of the components you will use often and I feel if not very careful something will break. I still have yet to get the scanner function to work, even with help from customer service.
When it works it does an adequate job. I have this model because it was the standard called for by my company. I have 3 similar models over the years and 2 are still in service. One of them would be weird and just stop working after a long time idle. I would have to unplug it a few times and wait for it to restart before it would work again. Never could figure out the issue.
Worked once and then powered off and would not power back up
