It toasts the Brend evenly and I like that the bread comes up higher so it's easy to remove from the toaster
This is a wonderful slice toaster. It’s of great quality, which is designed uniquely with brushed and chrome stainless steel. It toasts very yummy 2-slices of any items like bagels, bread, muffins, etc. My kids love them. It looks so classic, beautiful and shinny. And it’s easy for the storage in our cabinets as it has cord wrap. Cleaning is so easy as it contains removable crumb tray. But for the first-time usage, wipe the tray clean with a damp sponge. Then, you can prepare as many batches of toasts you want. This toaster has 5 versatile functions like Cancel, toasting, Defrost, Rehear and Bagel. It also has 6-level adjustable browning controls where we can toast our food from light to brown. No mess or No miss in this toaster. It has a high Lift lever to remove the bread or small items easily. It’s worth to buy with reasonable price. I will definitely recommend many of my friends and colleagues of this wonderful waffle maker. My family going to enjoy delicious toast for our breakfast prepared from this fabulous toaster. I am writing this reviews as part of a contest.
Very pleased with new toaster. Nice looking, like the LED lights next to the different settings. Works very well. Order and delivery was very painless and quick.
This toaster is well built and does its job very well. It has three useful features: defrost / bagel option / cancel. It does not have an alarm to signal when toast is done, which is a good thing, in my opinion. I have pets who are frightened by alarms, and I read a number of reviews of other toasters where people said that that their pets also were frightened by the alarm. This toaster is very good at doing what it's supposed to do at an affordable price.
We have been struggling to find a toaster that doesn't burn everything. Did a bunch of research and discovered this Krupps toaster had performed well. Walmart had the best price, and free shipping, so we took a chance and bought one. We really like the Krupps toaster.....it does what it is supposed to do, and does it well without breaking the bank. We are very pleased, and hope the unit lasts a long while.
Finally found the perfect toaster. As promised this toaster delivers perfectly even toasting. I've paid much more for toasters and never got evenly toasted bread. No need to flip bread over to get it browned on both sides. And the toaster looks good too. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged.
Works just fine. Have used it a couple of weeks, maybe five times so far. Does what it should. Looks nice, when I remember to wipe the fingerprints from the shiny surface. We'll see how long it lasts. Have not have a long relationship with any toaster I have ever owned.
I bought this toaster because it was the top-rated toaster by a "leading consumer reporting" magazine. I usually trust their ratings, but I should have paid more attention to the reviews on their website. This toaster does a terrible job toasting. Isn't that what a toaster should do? At any darkness setting, it only toasts the side of the bread facing the inside of the toaster. The toaster has a "bagel" setting that only toasts the inside of the bagel, but that's not the problem. The heating elements light on both sides of the bread slot, so it's a puzzle to me why only one side gets toasted. I have now read numerous reviews of this toaster where the reviewers said they had the same problem with this toaster. Had I read the reviews before buying the toaster, I would not have purchased it. Finally, the all-metal case does get extremely hot to the touch, especially the top, so you have to be careful not to burn yourself. (My old toaster had a plastic case that did not get hot, so I was spoiled.) I ordered this online. If I didn't think returning it to the store would be a hassle, and if I didn't feel guilty for using it, I would have returned it in an instant. NOT recommended.
It takes forever to toast! Has to be the world's slowest toaster. Smooth silver finish on top and control side begs for finger prints and marks. Handle and connector piece that handle slips into is cheesy plastic. It just can't last very long.
The little cradle on which bread rests while being toasted is too narrow. Bread slips past it and falls to the bottom. It won't pop up.
