I think this is the best jarred sauce out there. It's rich, perfectly balanced, with a lovely tomato flavor. I used to cook my sauce (and everything else) from scratch, but now am disabled and can no longer cook. I add a pinch of crushed red pepper to this, and it tastes wonderful, satisfying. Thank you, Bertolli!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. What I received was a 24.7 ounce jar of Bertolli d'Italia marinara sauce. And I must say this stuff is absolutely delicious! The label states it is made in Italy. It states that there's six servings per container of a half a cup per serving. The ingredients are all recognizable. Tomatoes, tomato juice, tomato paste, olive oil, onions, sea salt and spices, water and last but not least citric acid. I had to Google that one. It is used as an acidity regulator. Easy to use you just shake the bottle before opening heat it and serve over pasta. you can heat it on the stove or in the microwave. Delicious on pasta or seafood. We needed a quick dinner one night and so we used this and the family loved it. Poured it over some linguine that I had cooked quickly and grated some fresh Parmesan over it and it was just amazingly delicious. When you open the jar the wonderful smell of the spices and tomatoes reach your nose and it is so extremely pleasing. And then it hits your taste buds and your mouth just waters for more. I definitely have found my new go to red sauce. The family loved it!
Today I was selected to try out Bertolli d'Italis Marinara sauce. I made manicotti with the sauce today. Husband and kids loved it. The sauce was smelled amazing of fresh herbs and tomotoes as well. Was the perfect thickness I'm the sauce. When I opened the jar it smelled like homemade pasta sauce. will definitely buy and use again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pasta sauce! It is quick to make and tastes like you've had it simmering for hours. The smell of fresh tomatoes and herbs while it simmered made my house smell amazing. I made spagetti and had a little extra sauce so used it as a dipping sauce for breadsticks as well. I highly recommend this sauce to make dinners tasty and easy.

It tastes great without any additions but you can also add to it if you like, with veggies or what have you. I love basil and add it to almost every dish so it was nice to see this as an ingredient. I used d'Italia Marinara to make my very first lasagna and it turned out amazing! I love the brand and am happy with my experience. My next use is planned for pasta. It's a very versatile sauce, which makes it pretty great. This sauce won't disappoint.

The color is nice and vibrant and you can see the chunks of tomatoes and seasoning. Added to spaghetti, the sauce has a nice zesty flavor profile. The flavor is just the right balance of acidity and garlic seasoning. Well worth it.
This is at least the fifth time I'm getting this sauce. It's just so good. I was buying Rao's on the regular, but this has knocked them out of my top marinara spot.

Bertolli's D'Italia Marina pasta sauce was chunky and fresh, and flavor of basil was very good. It was perfectly thick, not to runny and not so many chunks that my kids would complain. I appreciate that I can pronounce and recognize all of the ingredients on the label. It is a bit pricey for my "go to" pasta night, but I would consider it for dinner with guests.
