This filter worked perfectly in my refrigerator.
Aqua fresh is a perfect fit for my samsung fridge.
Works just like the original. Some do not support the correct amount of pressure. But this one does with half the cost. It was cheaper to order it on line than to buy it directly from store plus free shipping.
The filter works fine, I saved a few dollars by buying this filter instead of the brand name one. I recommend it if you don't want to go with the Samsung filters they work the same
So, got it. Put it in. Seems to be working fine. Great value!
I could not insert the cartridge correctly because the rubber seal had broken.
Will not lock in. Also tried Pure H20 Filter PH21310, it wouldn't lock in either. Poor engineering.
Does not replace Samsung DA29-00020B even though is says it does. It goes in but won't turn to lock into place.
The filter arrived with a hairline crack that made it unusable, and then I found that iSave has its own separate return process that does not have an easy online return link...it wasn't worth the apparent hassle to follow through on this, so I ate my $15 loss. Then I bought the same item from Walmart.com, figuring the extra $5 ($20-ish total) was worth it to have in-store return availability...and my total $35 cost is still well below the Samsung OEM filter cost.
Major design flaws in the AquaFresh WF294 that render this item a leaky mess, you can even see it in the video. When inserting the filter, You cannot turn it far enough to lock it in place, in the video you can see that the arrow is not perfectly lined up perpendicularly. This is because the union joint on the WF294 is almost twice as thick as the OEM filter and it can't seat fully in the receptacle. Also, the keeper flange on the WF294 is slightly thinner on the insertion side and therefor doesn't seat properly. Don't buy this unit, I'm still cleaning up from the mess it made...and I hope it didn't ruin my $2,000 fridge.
