This laptop is too beautiful !!!! I can use anywhere, the HP Laptop. modern, elegant and portable design. I'm in love!!! The battery lasts a long time, I can stay on the computer for up to 10 hours! I have done all my work with this laptop !!! The camera has an optimal resolution, sharp! Super light, I carry it in my bag without feeling the weight. At home, in the office, on the beach, I can use this laptop everywhere! He is perfect!!! I strongly recommend!!!
The HP 15.6 PENTIUM 4GB/128GB LAPTOP-SCARLET RED is a great first time computer user friendly laptop. After setup which was a quick process the cortana voice assistant helps you through all the process and any other questions you have and you can also shut her off at any point. Now the laptop is on Windows 10 S-mode which is safe and you can only download games or programs from the windows store. It runs fast between programs, it surfs quick and it has great visual on gaming. It's not touchscreen only touchpad. It's slim and lightweight. All colors are vivid and updating takes a few seconds. Speakers are nice and loud. It has great storage with expansion on card and offered online. HDMI slot which helped with streaming movies and videos. Battery lasts long which I love alot.
most of the people giving bad reviews are inexperienced and impatient.. ive had this laptop before bought it from walmart as well and bought a new one because i have away my old one.. arrived perfectly fine undamaged .. yes the setup takes a while and you must be patient.. mine took a little over 2 hours .. also upon start up the first 10 minuted are a little laggy but thats a given with any electronic these days … after that smooth sailing.. its has tons of storage and is easy to use overall a great laptop for gaming and office work. ps: charge it before you try and turn it on becuase it is dead also when using it make sure not to cover the bottom of your laptop with a completely flat surface because it will overheat try using a breathable surface or prop it up so the bottom of the laptop has airflow.. this is just how laptops are its not just this latop itself .. this laptop is practically indestructible just dont go throwing it around on purpose.. ive dropped and stepped on it more than once (not tooo roughly) and it was perfectly fine .. this laptop is mostly suitable for an adult though..
I'm impressed with the speed of this laptop. Its comfortable to use, very lightweight and thin, and easy to use. It also looks so modern with the red color. This laptop would be great for anyone using it for anything. I'm buying another for my daughter for her birthday.
I am not a "techie", but I love and embrace how modern technology enhances my life. And I really enjoy learning about new tech options, and using this laptop has really been educational for me. The set up was absolutely seamless and perfect! With Cortana's friendly guidance, and HP presence {not bloatware, just good stuff), I really enjoyed personalizing this laptop. This is my first experience with a fine quality solid state device, so I had to do a little homework. I see so many benefits in using this laptop: no moving drive parts means a silent operation, extremely fast boot (it takes my unit 11 seconds, on broadband, for total start up, and streaming is so fast and efficient! I have learned so much about SSD drives in a laptop. Here are a few facts: Less heat and vibration, sturdier for travel, and more energy efficient. Oh, and again, so fast, yet quiet! The storage offered in this laptop fits my needs to a "T". I don't store tons of data on my laptop, but i did add an SD card so i can move and store photos, etc. easily. I know some of Us may think that 4 gigs of RAM, and 128 GB solid state hard drive isn't much, but personally, when I consider what I do with my laptop- streaming, social networking, communicating, researching, shopping, and all common daily activities, then this is perfect! It is more lightweight, more quiet, faster, more durable, and more efficient than a laptop with an HDD drive. And , nowadays, we all have so many options for cloud storage, that we really don't have to rely solely on our more portable computers for storage and saving data. I have done my homework, and realize it may not be for everyone. But for me, personally, experiencing how the newer SSD drives function has changed how I look at my personal computing. This laptop has opened a whole new world to me. It moves quickly and efficiently, and that is a good thing!
This is such a cool laptop, I love the red on the outside which makes it look so unique! The keyboard is nice and sleek as well, silver in color, and I like how the keys bounce back as I press them. I believe that one important thing for a laptop is an easy setup process and this HP laptop didn't disappoint: The setup process is voice-enanched so you just need to follow the vocal instructions as you go through the different screens and I was surprised how smoothly and fast the whole process went. The interface is user-friendly and easy to understand, if you have a basic computer knowledge. I would see this laptop as a good, valid option for kids or older people that might want something easy to setup and good to go. My daughter is currently using it for her school online meetings and the performance is pretty good: it's fast, apps don't crash and videos are crisp. We are very pleased with this laptop and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish laptop with a great performance!
I absolutely am in love with my new laptop. Not only because of its stylish looks and striking red color, but because it is absolutely amazing and perfect for me for daily search, load, watching movies, etc. Forst of all let me point out a GORGEOUS red almost burgundy color, wide 15.6" screen and a stainless steel keyboard, YES it is stainless steel, sleek, stylish and the coolest thing I have ever had. This laptop has got 4GB memory, with 500 GB storage. The display is a perfect 15.6" size, has got a built in webcam, has got Windows 10 home operating system, the battery life is amazing, takes me all say of on and off browsing to get the battery down low. The screen has amazing resolution, the colors are extremely vibrant, bright and true to life. The only thing that took me forever kinda was a set up process. Almost 20 minutes which is unheard off. All other devices had a perfect internet connection but the laptop took a long time to get to set up. The speeds are fast and this is definitely a power machine, I'm a huge fan of HP products, so I definitely wasnt disappointed. I have used it for over a week for browsing, downloading and watching movies without any problem. Highly recommend to all the interested shoppers.
The HP 15.6 PENTIUM 4GB/500GB LAPTOP-SCARLET RED when folded closed has a nice clean appearance. It is thin and sturdy. The scarlet red color is attractive. When the laptop is opened to expose the display screen and keyboard is when the surprises start. I was expecting to see a black keyboard and found a beautiful in appearance silver keyboard. The area around the keys is also done in silver. Overall, this laptop is quite attractive. The other surprise is that this laptop has a full keyboard similar to a desktop keyboard. The keyboard includes an numeric keyboard and a full set of “F” keys at the top of the keyboard. The keys are sized nicely for people with big fingers. The feel when the keys are depressed is not too different from a desktop keyboard. The monitor is bright enough to operate in a fully lighted room and be read easily. There is sufficient brightness margin to work around the swim-pool. Initial setup is almost handled by the laptop itself. It asks on screen questions and you supply the answers and in about 15 minutes or less the laptop is ready to go. Microsoft 365 is preloaded and all you must do is activate it on your Microsoft Account. This laptop has a large capacity hard drive plus the Microsoft 365 Cloud Storage. Storage memory should never be an issue. Thus far I have typically experienced about 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. When watching videos, the quality of the sound coming out of the laptop speakers is good. The voices and music are clear, easily understood and does not sound like it is coming out of a tin horn. This laptop has a lot of computing power and therefor is quite fast. When using a complex Excel spread sheet the recalculation speed is as fast as my desktop performing the same recalculation. Lots of computing power. The built-in camera creates great high-resolution videos. The camera works well with Skype and Facebook Messenger video telephone calls. This laptop has a full range of port types including an Ethernet port. The HP 15.6 PENTIUM 4GB/500GB LAPTOP performance is comparable to many desktops. My bottom line is “This Laptop has a lot to like.”
I got this to upgrade form my 10 year old HP laptop in hopes to get something that would boot up and load programs faster. I was greatly disappointed. This laptop is a tiny bit faster, but still slow as molasses. For example, when I join go to meeting, it takes about 10 minutes to wait for the PC to wake up, open my email and then open go to meeting. Once it's opened, it works well, but the waiting to initially open it is painful. This PC is sharp looking, but the shell is plastic. Heaven forbid you drop it, your going to have a cracked shell. The screen has a good resolution, but the picture is terrible considering it's 1080p. There is a very limited viewing angle without the picture becoming dark. The battery doesn't last nearly as long as advertised. I've had it last 4 hours, max. This is not the advertised 10 hours. It does however, have a decent standby time. If the PC is asleep, it will stay charged for several days. It does also charge quickly. Unless you absolutely need a Windows PC, spend the same amount of money on a nice chromebook. You'll get a lot more bang for your buck.
This is a great laptop for basic computer users. It has a really easy to navigate setup process that you can complete via voice commands (super cool! I've never seen a computer do that before). The computer runs really well and is perfect for email/school work. The screen does not recline all the way back (this is NOT a 360 tablet style computer). Solid laptop for basic computing tasks. If you are looking to do anything graphic intensive or that requires much storage space though, I would recommend investing a little more money. If not, then this is a great value!
