I have so many Wilton pans but this one is so versatile. I can make small ball cakes by putting two halves together, or i can use the halves on other cakes to build up a hill scene. The possibilities are endless. Not to mention WIlton pans are always good quality pans. Thanks again Wilton!!
Fast shipping, exactly what I want it
This is one of the most versatile novelty pan! The ideas are limitless for the use of this shape. I've made ducks, footballs, dolls, used them as hills, and many other cakes! They are deeper than the picture shows, which makes them absolutely wonderful to work with! I've used this pan over and over again, and the cakes always come out great! You can also use these pans for many other things besides cake - jello, chocolate, and frozen pudding! They also work great when you turn the pan over and use it for chocolate cups, and baking biscuit cups!

When my daughter got married her flower was a blue Hydrenga. I made her a medium size wedding cake and 90 cupcakes. I used the mini ball pan and decorated each one to look like a Hydrenga flower. My daughter was very pleased and amazed how they actually looked like the real thing. This pan was a blessing for me.
I just abosolutely adore these pans. You can do so many different things with these pans it's amazing. One year I made my Son fluffy weebles with these pans and he just loved them! I love the way your pans are very easy to use and sets ones imagination on fire!
This is one of those most have pans. Their use is only limited by your imagination. It is perfect to make a smaller cake for those little ones birthdays, so they can mush their fingers into it from their highchair, ball to go with baseball boy, use the halves to make balloons, made two caterpillars coming together to form a heart for Valentines, and even my own version of snowballs for dessert!
This is one of my favorite pans for children theme cakes. My latest use was to accompany a Ladybug cake, so I made a few smaller Ladybugs to sit around the larger one. I also used one of these to make the head of the larger ladybug. Turned out Awesome and everyone loved it!!
Item arrived damaged due to improperly packaging for shipping through the postal service. Just placing the pan inside a thin bubble-wrap lined envelope is not going to protect a metal, pliable pan from being bent. This purchase proves the point that "Common sense is NOT common"! Thankfully, Walmart took the pan back in exchange for store credit. However, I STILL need a pan.
I was super excited to use this to make vintage snoball cakes. But. I cut myself twice as the underside edge is very sharp. Once while unpacking it and again while using it. If this is still being made, this design should be altered. Worked great otherwise but use carefully.
