Great little air fryer/toaster oven! We had a different brand at the same price point that broke after 1.5 years. I'm hoping the longevity of this brand is better. The door and accessories feel sturdy and well-made. Toasts perfectly. The different settings are perfect for about any use. It has pre-set functions that you can easily adjust to your needs. Cooks quickly and well. We have no complaints so far and prefer it over our previous brand.
Great oven -airfryer! It's perfect for a 10” cast iron skillet when baking bread. I use this oven when I don't want to use my large regular oven. I also use the airfryer feature and it is quick and easy. I have the smaller version of this airfryer-oven it works so well that I purchased this one. Great quality and easy to use. Also happy with the price from Sam's Club!
Very happy with this purchase. Decided to go with this air fryer toaster oven based on prior positive results from Instant products, primarily instant pots. This air fryer heats up fast, cooks with an incredible powerful fan and a full ring burner on the top and makes excellent food in incredibly short time. Whether it's reheating left overs or cooking fresh food like hamburgers from raw it does a great job.
Works really well. Very powerful. Usually takes less time than what cooking instructions suggest. Toasting is a little slower though. Runs a little loud.
There is a learning curve using this air fryer since the headspace is not very high. The air frying features are a good, but the user manual is minimal and useless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to combine our toaster and air fryer into one unit. We didn't want to counter full of appliances. The unit takes longer to "quiet" down or turn off after using the toaster setting. The air fryer is amazing and it's better than our Ninja. The capacity is huge and we're able to prep 2x the amount of food vs our traditional air fryer. The matte black is stylish - wish there was a stainless option to match our major appliances. It really gets the job done and fits nicely on the counter.

It also has fewer functions than the "Plus" model. But, that is why this one only costs $159 and the "Plus" model at other websites is a lot more. That said, the base model is actually quite good, has enough functions for me (I did not want a rotisserie function or "proofing"), and its thermostat is pretty accurate. There are a few quirks in its operation, such as the fact that at temperatures above 375 degrees it will only allow for a 60 minute timer, rather than up to two hours at lower temperatures. The interior is spacious to the point that the racks and accessories I have from two previous "controls on top" convection ovens of this type are too small to use in this one. No matter, however, since this model comes with the rack, an air-fryer basket and drip pan, and a well-built grill pan. Since I like to do multiple batches in the air fryer I can use my other baskets and the grill pan to hold the drips. Hopefully the controls on the Instant Pot oven will last longer than the ones on my previous convection/air fryer ovens (different brands). BUT, if you think you are getting a steal for an Instant Omni Plus, you will be mistaken.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Instant Omni toaster oven air fryer because I didn't want to have too many appliances on the counter so this will help me to save space. This oven was bigger than my previous oven but I found that oven to be a little too small for my liking. This one was perfect in size. The oven is very sleek and stylish. The panel is really nice with a digital screen. It came with an instruction guide, rack, basket and pan. The guide had basic information on what was included, controls and upkeep. I would have loved to have a little cookbook that gave some recipes so you know what temp is best for certain things. They do give a website in the guide for you to refer to for recipes and times but I haven't checked it out yet. So far I've air fried some chicken breasts. I had to keep an eye on them to get the timing just right. Fries is a hit or miss, but if you get the timing and temp just right you can get decent fries. I've made cookies as well but I lowere the temp so they don't burn. These ovens are hotter than traditional ovens so most times you need to cook things on a lower temp so you won't burn or overcook your food especially if you don't want to stand over it. I've made a frozen pizza as well and that was a hit, I was happy that the whole pizza was able to fit inside this oven. I really thought this was going to be the oven that could rotisserie a chicken. This is a different oven but you can still bake/roast a whole small chicken with this oven. I have not had any spills so far so it's been easy to clean. One thing to note is the cord is a little short so you might want to take that into consideration when placing it on your countertop. Overall this is a nice toaster oven. I like that it doesn't make the kitchen warm so it's perfect for the summer months. What I would like to know is if you can purchase replacement racks and pans for this oven it's not listed in the guide but it's something I know I will need and like to have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Instant Omni 18L Air Fryer Toaster Oven is a hefty piece that occupies an ample amount of counter space. I mention this because instructions say to leave 5'' of space above and around all sides of this appliance. Additionally, the cord is short, so you will need to also need to consider this when deciding where to place it. This unit has so many cooking options which makes it a perfect addition to any kitchen. Enclosed are the air fry basket, cooking pan and one oven rack. There are three markings on the exterior of oven door which cleverly shows me where to place the rack depending on the type of cooking we are doing: Broil, Air Free/Toast, and Roast/Bake/Warm. The enclosed guide is very helpful for understanding how to operate this device. With practice, it is an effortless appliance to operate. Keep in mind that before using the oven, it is on standby mode and display reads OFF. The dial allows you to toggle between the type of cooking time and temperature. It did take a few tries to finally understand how the controls work. After selecting cooking mode, temperature and time, press START To begin, and the display will read ON while this is occurring. The great thing is that the oven preheats on its own. When the oven reaches the set temperature it beeps and then the countdown begins. You will see the display alternating between temperature and time left. If you are using air fry mode, it will beep and display will say Turn Food when it's time to do so. After food is cooked, the display will say END. If you leave the food in the oven, it will beep every 5 minutes until you take out your food. After removing food, the display will return to OFF and the fan will blow until it is cooled down. Initially, I thought that the fan sound was that the oven was still cooking. Yet as long as you see OFF, it is no longer cooking. I used the Air Fryer mode for frozen pizza and waffle fries and they both were done quickly and cooked to perfection. The toast mode was my not my favorite as, at the highest level, my bagel was still light. I had to toast it again. This could have been due to bagels being thicker than toast. Another part I did not like was the interior of the oven door. It is not flat and thus it rapidly collects crumbs which are not as readily wiped off. Lastly, the OFF display is constant unless you unplug the oven which is recommended when not in use. Aside from these small nuisances, we are excited about this new appliance and are eager to try the other cooking modes. Although you can only cook one meal at a time, it is great not to have to use our gas oven during hot months! This will make great gift for anyone with an apartment to cook a variety of meals with only one appliance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster oven/ air fryer doesn't have as many bells and whistles as some others but it offers all of the basic cooking functions I need. This unit is pretty compact and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I found the control panel fairly easy to navigate and the smart programs are nice time savers. However, I am not a big fan of the dial. I wish the panel was completely touch screen. So far I have used this oven to bake cookies. air fry frozen wings and toast bagels. My cookies and wings came out perfect. They cooked evenly and quickly. I didn't have great results with the toasted bagels as the oven seemed to toast hotter on the bottom. Overall though, I think this is a really nice basic oven and I especially enjoy being able to cook smaller meals without having to heat up my regular oven.
