first time i used this knife was to cut the kernels off approximately 1409 ears of corn. This means the knife was running constantly for over three hours. It performed very well and I appreciate that there is a short and a long blade included. Of the three electric knives in use, this is the only one that didn't stop running or over heat. it was awesome. comes with two blades and a case. I was really impressed. Recommend!
My daughter wanted this electric knife to cut through 3 inch foam for a fursuit project she's been working on. It cuts great unless you turn it on its side as you cut, it shuts off and in order for it to power back on you have to take the blades out and reset them. Quite troubling if you have a big project or meat or anything you're carving or slicing requires it to be anything other then up and down.. This was a replacement for the one we originally ordered.
Loved that this came with a case & fork. Great value for the price!! I use it to make my own sandwich meats; it cuts through beef roast, pork roast, chicken breast & turkey no problems. It's cuts very thin or pretty thick slices & it's easy to clean - and stores in its own little case...thinking of getting others for gifts. Definitely recommend this, as I use it several times a week.
I had to replace my 20 year old Hamilton Beach electric knife because the plastic on the blade broke, it still worked but was concerned if the other side would break while using it so got the newer version which is just as nice, different case though but like it better.
Nice storage case. Have used it numerous times and really like it. Only thing I might change is the button you press to operate. If you used it for long periods I think your finger would get sore. Love the price, case and nice carving fork. I would buy again.
We've only used this knife once since buying it, but it worked great. It was easy to use and the storage case keeps everything tight and tidy in one place.
Bought this to make slicing homemade bread a breeze. It lives up to its job but after slicing just one 9in loaf you can begin to smell the motor struggling. While I don't foresee this having a long life span and will certainly struggle to carve meat it is serving it's purpose for me and I will invest in a different product once it stops working.
I had ordered this knife online and was delivered in a torn box and it obviously had been opened because the container didn't have the packaging material wrapped around it. I had to take back to store cause I was giving it as a wedding gift and didn't want a torn box
Did not work well at all. If your slicing meat and stop for a second when you start slicing again before you can, you have to readjust the blades, or it won't run the blades. I don't know if that is a safety feature, never had that before on any other electric knife, but if it is, it is awful, annoying and time consuming. The on off button is not good either. Would not recommend looking for another brand now.
This was placed as an Curb pickup order and as such what could go wrong right? Well, the curbside pickup went flawlessly, but, the product itself is extremely cheaply made. I'm under the impression that it is primarily used for cutting meat, because, it cannot cut anything else effectively. Tomatoes? No! Onions? No! Bell Peppers? No! I'm willing to wager that it's a no go for meats too! What a waste of retirement savings!
