perfect for those who need a longer shade to allow shaded area around a television
Very disappointed, They look as if they were a craft project. Not worth it. Still sitting in the box.
The style of the lampshade is not given online so when I received it it did not fit my lamp. The lack of detail on the online posting really upset me because I love the pattern and colors.
I was hesitant to order this particular lampshade from this series, as some other reviews mentioned the shade looks "like someone's craft project". I took a chance, as the shade was exactly the shape and size I have been looking for. Other shades in this tall drum-style are about $69+ elsewhere. Well, the other reviews were spot-on. The material used looks like vinyl wallpaper glued to a large white cardboard tube. The seams are crooked and thick, and when the lamp is turned on you can see the wide, crooked seams through the illuminated shade. Awful!! I ordered another pattern (yellow diamonds) in this series and it looks just as bad. I wouldn't even put this in a child's room. I will say that it was packed very well; packaged in bubble-wrap and shipped in a sturdy, thick box. The pattern is pretty and if it was well-made and better quality material (fabric) it would be a keeper. Oh well.....my search continues.
