i bought this for my 2yr old daughter and she loves it she feels so grown up when she gets to skate with the older kids in the neighborhood.
My 2-year-old daughter couldn't wait to put these Dora skates on! For her first time on skates, she did so well. The skates are easily adjustable and sturdy enough -- it comes with elbow and knee pads just in case!
I bought these skates for my daughter who just turned 2. She really loves the skates. She can't keep her balance on them and needs help. These are a great learning tool.
Perfect skates for the beginner. Nose stopper for brakes are very helpful! Elbo and knee pads that come with are a neccessity!
I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE DORA SKATES I GOT FOR MY NIECE. THEY FIT HER FEET JUST FINE, ALONG WITH HER FRIENDS A YEAR OLDER THEN HER. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND THE SHIPPING WAS FAST. THE ONLY THING THAT I DIDNT LIKE IS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE SKATE THERE'S A WING NUT TO TIGHTEN IT TO THE RIGHT SIZE, BUT INSTEAD OF SCREWING DOWN ALL THE WAY, YOU JUST TURN IT UNTIL IT TIGHTENS. IT TAKE A LITTLE TO GET USED TO, BUT SO FAR WE HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT COMING UNDONE.
These little skates are great but the pads are not. I knew by reading other reviews to buy a helmet and elbow/knee pad set seperate of this purchase and I'm so glad it did. I bought these skates for my 2 1/2 yr old Grand daughter who wears a size 6 shoe. She LOVES the skates and wants to wear them all the time. We were pleased that her's came in pale purple instead of red. With in 15 minutes she was standing alone and walking around in them and can now walk all over the house on the wood floors! The size does run small and probably won't fit a size 10 or larger shoe. Because of the size issue we bought our 3 yr 3 mo old Grandson adjustable roller blades as he wears a size 10 shoe and I was afraid these skates wouldn't fit him. However... I would recommend these skates for the little ones with shoe size up to maybe 8, 9 max and get the seperate safty gear! They are the perfect starter skates for 2 year olds or kids with small feet and the safty gear will protect them on their bikes, scooters, or their next pair of skates.
WE BOUGHT THESE FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD TO GO SKATING WITH US AT THE SKATING RINK. THE SKATES YOU RENT ARE JUST TOO HEAVY FOR HER TO WEAR AND SHE CAN'T KEEP HER BALANCE. WE GOT THESE AND TAKE THESE AND SHE IS NOW SKATING ALL AROUND THE RINK WITH US AND HER OLDER SIBLINGS. IF SHE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN THESE...SHE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. SHE STILL HAS TO KEEP HER BALANCE OR SHE WILL FALL DOWN, BUT IT IS GREAT AT TRAINING HER TO DO SO. THE ONLY THING THAT I'VE FOUND IS BAD...IT SAYS UP TO SIZE 12 FOR ADJUSTMENT. SHE IS WEARING A 9 AND IT'S MAXED OUT. THERES NO WAY SHE COULD GET INTO IF SHE WORE A 12~ DISSAPPOINTED IN THAT, BECAUSE SHORTLY WE WILL HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE THAT WILL WORK FOR HER AND STILL BE ALLOWED IN THE RINK! OTHER THAN THAT...GREAT SKATES FOR A TODDLER!
We bought this for our daughter. She loves Dora. BUT i would not recommend for a child who is a beginner at skating. these DO NOT lock. So we had to put up til she can skate.
I like them. My 3 year old seems pretty steady with them. The only bad thing is you can's really have any size shoe. They can't be bulky at all because of the width. I just put her in a slimmer pair of shoes instead of her sneakers and they seem to work fine.
I bought these skates for my granddaughter who is 2 1/2. we recently took up skating as a fun family activity and she loved it! she wanted to skate alone by herself but because her feet are so small the only skates i could find were these. she likes them but the only thing that we didn't know when we bought them that is that it doesn't come with an option to lock wheels so it's not really good for a beginner skater because the wheels just turn and down you go!
