I never pay attention to the size when I am ordering, so the first time I received this, I was surprised at how small the carton was BUT it was fine; just a tad less than a regular small can of tomato sauce. It has the best flavor and adds a richness to the dish. It always makes my dishes taste a little more "extra" homemade. It seems like everytime I use Del Fuerte in my spaghetti or chili, my husband always comments how it is better than other times. It's my secret ingredient!
This is a tomato sauce with a hint of spice that makes it taste richer than the plain canned variety, but you're still able to add your own spices. I've used it with both mexican and italian dishes. I also like the little easy open box it comes in.
I seen this and decided to try it im glad I did i only use this for all .y recipes that call for tomato sauce its seasoned but doesn't change the taste of a recipe just adds to it and I love that its in a carton and not a can
Due to inflation I was trying to cut xorners and save some money. Pasta sauce is $3-4 a jar anymore. So i thought buying 3 small containers of Del Fuerte tomato sauce would make a cheap spaghetti dinner. Sadly this sauce is too bland and almost watered down. I'd suggest seasoning this yourself and add some tomato paste to thicken it up. Next time I'll just buy a jar of great value pasta sauce because it's relatively decent.
I ordered salsa de Pato and I received this. if I do not respond to your email about substituting something maybe you should leave it alone and just not send me anything, this is not salsa de Pato 🤬
