As soon as I opened this, I was really excited about the size of the tablet and the protective case around it. This is for my young child who definitely needs all the protection he can get! It has a shape and texture that is easy for small hands to grip and a built-in stand on the back. The setup was lengthy, but straightforward. I was very impressed with the Google security measures for the kids account. Since my child is very young, I liked the very restrictive measures I could implement, but I can see changing the settings as he gets older. There are quite a few different options for apps, websites, movies, shows, and books. I also liked the option of setting up daily limits and a downtime schedule. The one thing I noticed is that this seems to run more slowly than my tablet, which is understandable for a kids tablet, but just a heads-up in case you were expecting lightening speed!
I received the onn 8" kids edition tablet for my three year old grand daughter,the blue kid tablet with durable case already installed,nice and smooth operation with this tablet,it's really good quality.also has built in strong stand and USB charging cord,I also like how easy it was to setup.this tablet camera take pictures is crystal clear and sound is so much better.
The kids tablet was small and is easy to pack. The screen is very responsive and is fast. So far, there is no lag. Just always monitor what your child is watching. As for the durability, it is not very durable. Once threw or fell, it will shattered so be careful. Other than that its a great tablet in its price point.
Amazing tablet 😍 ! 100% honest review. My 5 year old son has had his tablet for about 3 weeks now and it's still perfect. He's had about 6 good temper tantrums so I've seen that tablet fly across the room at me like a Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka, It did crash but.....IT NEVER BURNED! Few times I was for sure when I went to pick it up off the floor it was gonna be busted up but wasn't. Still works 👍🏽. And videos man, the picture is soooooo good, better than my Motorola G Pure so I'm kinda jealous lol. Great tab highly recommend.
This tablet is terrific. I was initially unsure because it is android based and we are only familiar with apple products. The Google store is just like the Apple Store for apps. There are so many free kids apps and books and many that are not expensive. The tablet comes with a bright blue silicone case that has a stand attached to the back so you can rest it up on a table. The touch screen is scratch resistant which is great for kids and adults alike. It also comes Google Space which is very cool. Overall, this is easy to use and very kid friendly.
I think this is a wonderful kids tablet, my child previously had the Amazon fire tablet which required a kid based program subscription. I like that I do not need a subscription and still have great parental control. Seems to be pretty fast and I love the bumper case and stand. Overall i would say this is a great product for the price!
I love how handy this is for the kids, I purchased it for the Christmas gift and my kids enjoy it a lot. It does come with a protective cover so you don't have to spend additional money on covers.
The onn. 8 Kids Tablet in Pink is super user friendly for kids and parents to set-up! The tablet went from out of the box, a few minutes of charging, another few minutes to set-up via a Google account, and your kiddo is ready to use! Another win is this tablet comes with a case! No more seperate purchases and hoping the case fits well. The 8 inch screen size works for us and the picture quality is excellent.
Tablet itself is great…until your kid breaks the screen and the included 2 year warranty doesn’t cover it. I contacted onn. And they assured me that I would receive a email with instructions within 5-10 days which I thought was odd. 2 weeks later still no email. I call a few day later and explain, the device still works but the glass is broken, even with that it’ll cost $50 to replace the screen shipping. For all of that I might as well go buy another one to avoid the hassle. AMAZON WOULD NEVER!
It started off super cute and i thought it would be great. Once we started using it, it was very slow. Even before downloading any apps. What i do like is the option where they have to ask permission to download an app. We downloaded 5 apps and got a pop up that there wasn't any space left. Eventually i just couldn't use it. The screen was unresponsive and i just couldn't do anything. While the case is cute, i think it could benefit from a thicker rubber.
