these socks are very comfortable, it feels like cushions on the nottom of your feet. the only tiny complaint is where the sock has that little plastic thread to keep them together. a string comes lose
I bought these socks for my husband for Christmas for work. They fit perfectly he wears a size 15 and he raved about how comfortable they were and about the fact that he didn't know that dickies even made socks. I would definitely buy these for him again.
Nice looking Shoes. Seem well built. I needed some High Tops for some Basketball fun. I haven't worn these much but so far they are good.
Have flat feet. Wear a size 14EE Wide to 15EE size boot. Been using the Dickie socks for a couple years now. Very well cushioned/thick/soft. Helpful for 16+ hour days on pavement. I buy both the Quarter and Tall style white Dickie socks. The Dickies last a decent while also after many months of heavy washings. The quarter tall 6" boot size sock I do prefer. For after so many hours a day... they do not girdle your lower leg/ stopping circulation. I'll continue to buy them as long as they make them. Great price for 5 pair. I just ordered 20 more pair. They get thin after a year so I order more. Use the old for rags. "The black color Dickie socks I tried also". Great socks as far as comfort discussed above. "But" if you work/sweat a lot? Stick w/ the white to get cleaner using bleach. To avoid any athletes foot. The black dyed socks tend to itch/hold bacteria after being used for work. Not fun. Anyway folks. Length is good but run a bit narrow. Be careful when unpackaging. When you clip the plastic threads that hold the group of three together, pulling on that plastic thread will create a hole in the fabric that will ruin the sock.
I have been buying Dickies for a very long time ...the steel toe heavy cushioned "industrial"worker socks....both quarter and crew length....not sure why or what's happening but the product is much less THAN It used to be....the cushioned sole which I specifically buy for is HALFthe cushion from years gone by I will be searching for a replacement sock as these are no longer the quality they used to be.
When I ordered these socks online I was looking for the largest I could find. The size listed on these Dickies socks was 13-16, but when I was at the store to pick them up the package size was actually 12-15. I needed them as big as possible, so this was a disappointment.
Walmart is displaying a picture of the old style, quality sock, but that is not what you will receive. They send the new style, which looks similar, but they're not good quality like they used to be. Customer service will tell you that you need to make a special trip to Walmart to return them, though they sent you something different than what's pictured. Keeping a picture of the old style sock on the website when they don't sell it anymore is deceitful.
I bought these before with a grey logo and much better fabric. These have a gold logo and feel extremely strange on my feet. I can't stand wearing them. I don't know how they changed their fabric, but I don't like it at all.
I have owned these socks multiple times and each time I buy them the quality declines! I wear these for work in and out of a warehouse, on my feet all day long. The first few sets lasted me almost 2 years! 2nd sets lasted 6 months and now this set has holes in the socks in under 2 months! Obviously the holes have gotten larger since washing them. GARBAGE!!!!
