love cold war just wish it wouldn't crash as much
love it was a pain to load
They Always make great black ops game only really bad thing is the loading when you first start the game then when your playing the game it says wire connection issue and you end up in gwam in the MAP when Im hard wired thats horrible and me and my team we go to join a lobby it takes us a hour to even play a game and to get everyone all together but over all if they fix this game it will have a lot of potential like Black ops 3 the best black ops ever made in history hands down it has that kind of potential if you get it together and run its own server please fix this and it will be a phenomenal game but the coop is remarkable and online is great to but way to many problems to even ENJOY THE GAME!!! PLEASE SOMEONE FIX THIS ISSUE!!
Ignore the person who said this isn't for the series x/s. It definitely is. When you download it, it literally says Cold War series X|S. I received it in about 15 minutes. Exactly what I was looking for and about $20 cheaper than it is in the Microsoft store. Im happy.
As far as the game itself goes, it's a COD game. Point, shoot, use equipment. The campaign has a fairly interesting and engaging story that is easy and quick to complete, but is bordering on too short. The online multiplayer offers several game modes, and has combined the popular modes like Team Deathmatch, domination, and kill confirmed into 2 selections of 6v6 or 12v12 matches. The other game modes are there as well. While this game can be played on Xbox One, the experience leaves much to be desired with longer load times, reduced graphics fidelity, and cutscene lag in the campaign. I spent a fair amount of time with this game on an Xbox One S, and was pushed into upgrading to a Series X almost exclusively by this game alone. The lag I experienced in the multiplayer lobbies was painfully obvious, though it can be worked through. Bottom line is its neither an outstanding or an bad game, and it provides a new although very similar flavor to the menu of largely homogenous COD games. For the moment at least, it still has many people playing online, which means short wait times in the multiplayer lobbies.
games now are all about graphics but theres no challenge. I remember 8 bit games taking me months to complete but now we have games that look amazing but I finished in 2 hours. I waited all this time and spent 60 bucks for 2 hrs.
First and most important, to me, there is no split screen zombie mode so you cannot play with your friend, brother, sister etc. Second, the mission game play is very puzzle oriented. So, if you like more puzzle solving than action, this is for you. More story telling, blah, blah blah, than game play. This version seems to be focused to the on line player (too much if you ask me).
If you have an xbox series s or x do not buy this copy. Despite it looking like it will work on those consoles, it wont. It will use backwards compatibility to run the Xbox one edition of the game instead. Theres no possible way to get the enhanced version through this so you will essentially be wasting $60 on non refundable copy and you will have to spend another $70 to get the correct version. This entire item page is misleading.
Pointless to try and play two player with any consistency. Great video quality and great campaign for single player or Xbox live only. It will not configure with any consistency on start up. You will likely have to restart this game 2 to 3 times every time you want to play it. Get ready for 30 minute approximate logins to get started. Your Activision personal account will also not work, you will frequently get some thing called umbrella merge error. Other than some nice graphics and decent gameplay when it works, this game is absolutely a waste of time and money. Worst endeavor theyve made yet.
Be VERY careful about this purchase. I did not realize exactly what 'download' meant until I received the item in my email. When I tried to return this item, I was told that since it was 'sent', I couldn't have a refund. $60.00 wasted for absolutely nothing. I used to be a loyal Walmart online shopper, but no long. As soon as I get my items, I'm done.
