very pleased with how this works. it makes trimming so much faster and don't have to mess with electric cords anymore.
I wish I bought this attachment sooner. It works great. Makes my trimming work around the yard so much easier and quicker ( I used to do it with a hand clipper). It also works great in cutting back the underbrush along the edge of my woods that the weedwacker can't handle.
One of the best tools I've purchased. It was $40 cheaper then the similar product at Home Depot and Lowe's best of all it works great fit right onto my Husqvarna power head and cuts my hedges like they if it was a hot knife through butter. The 22 in cutting area also is ideal because it helps balance the tool once it's all together I give it a 10 out of 10
Good so far. Just make sure the cutter is off the ground when you crank the motor or else the blade will bend. The metal isn't very thick, so it bends easily. I was able to bend it back in place when I discovered it was doing this. Now that I know to prop it up on something before pull starting, I don't have the issue anymore. It cuts very well!
It worked ok for the most and was good value . Not sure if it could be sharpened a bit but it had some issue cutting through different material. I cant place my finger on it. What I liked the most about it was it gave me some additional reach on the trimmer. It got the job done !!!!
I don't, really, have "hedges" to trim but, being out in the country, there are steep banks along a wet weather creek at the edge of the property (as seen in the photo) and around the culvert under my driveway that just love to run rampant with weeds and privet! The sides are too steep and gullies too narrow to even try to use a regular push or riding mower to tame them but this trimmer is just the ticket!
I had to rotate the clicklink 90 degrees to fit my Poulan weed wacker that I got at Walmart. Once I did this it worked great. I would say it is about 3 times faster than using and electric trimmer and extension cords. It is a little heavy though.
This is my second ClickLink hedge trimmer. The first one stopped working less than a minute after I began using it. The second trimmer is a replacement. It works well for light-duty trimming, like boxwoods, but can't handle anything with thicker stems. If you need something for medium to heavy duty work, spend the money and buy a professional grade trimmer.
First one quit working after 30 minutes of use. Unit got noisy and gear box was hot. Have not tried the replacement unit out yet.
Only used a couple times since I bought it last August. But it stopped working last week. It started by unusual noise. The blades were moving but wouldn't cut. I knew something went wrong. I opened the gear box and found that one piece of part became loose. Is there anywhere I can get it fixed?
