I had purchased this item as part of the list of ingredients to make the Hawaiian Chex Mix. Mind you this was my first attempt at the Hawaiian Chex Mix. Happy to report it was a huge success! Brought a large tin pan of the mix to the office pot luck……CLEANED OUT!
Have you ever tried this on eggs or popcorn?! Game changer!! I find myself grabbing for it just to give breakfast or snacks that extra spice of life. Sprinkle on ramen to make a delicacy.
If you are looking to add more flavor to your rice or bento boxes I highly recommend these rice seasonings! Nori Komi is dried seaweed naturally adds a slight salty flavor and white sesame seeds give a toasted nutty flavor. Just shake all over after your rice is cooked/warmed and refrigerate after, thats it! Definitely try other flavors if you enjoy this one as they are mixed with the seaweed and sesame seeds!
Thank you Walmart for having this on sale! Furikake rice seasoning is so delicious on white rice, sushi, pasta, eggs %26 buttered toast! Now I can order this from Walmart which is so much more convenient than going to my local Asian store! Plus, it's cheaper at Walmart!
I've been making my own sushi, so I keep furikake around when I'm in the mood for some. I've been shaking this stuff on everything. Rice, ramen, eggs, fried spicy tofu. It makes dishes pretty and colorful.
My family cannot eat white rice and canned tuna without Furikake Rice Seasoning. So, it was a major setback to find that this Asian-American staple's price has skyrocketed from $2.48 in February 2024 to $7.50 as of March 28, 2024. Before I joined Walmart , it was the go-to item to push the shopping basket over $35 to qualify for free shipping. What would it take for Walmart to bring down the price? Do I need to start a petition collecting signatures outside my Neighborhood Walmart store?
If you have never tried this on rice, you need to. It's also a great seasoning for ramen. It adds a lot of flavor and umami deliciousness. It adds a little saltiness, some pops of flavor from the sesame seeds and seaweed with a hint of sweetness. Has to be tasted to be believed!
This is really yummy on the rice! I use this for my Sushi Bake
Due to health issues and sensitivities to preservatives and additives in foods, I was extremely disappointed when the product arrived and contained 3 such ingredients NOT LISTED on the website. Now I have to weigh the cost of returning or the chance of a negative reaction to said ingredients. I would likely still recommend it to those who are not as sensitive to such products.
This product has a warning label on it that states it may contain lead. sending it back!
