Gateway 15.6" Ultra Slim Notebook 256GB I don't usually buy Gateway products since I've not had good experience and have heard others who had them always complaining about their performance. I had been seeing them for awhile at Walmart and finally took a chance. I like that it has the fingerprint option and it doesn't force you to use the "S" version of Windows. I like using Chrome for my browser, with the "S" version you can't use it. So that is definitely a plus. The bonus is that it's PURPLE! Time will tell if I made the right decision.
very nice laptop for the price. works smoothly and starts up fast. on ebay for $547 so I am extremely happy with buying it $150 cheaper at Walmart. Highly recommend.
I love this purchase.
Fed ex was told to leave package at door. They put the package in my backyard. Called fed ex and they were unconcerned. Do not recommend using fed ex in the future. Took me awhile to find the package.
Only reason I gave it a 1 star is because I couldn't post it with ZERO stars. I purchase this gateway and it was suppose to be new. When I received it the box had been opened and the original packing was not there. I opened the computer and it was dusty and dirty. I plugged in the laptop and the charger did not work. After using a different charger the laptop finally started. The laptop was broken. I called Wal-Mart and they told me I had to ship it back to the seller and they could not simply exchange it for a new laptop and my money would not be refunded until the seller received it. So I'm out $350 and had to purchase another laptop with Best Buy. Very dissatisfied by the whole situation.

Plugged the charger in and the charging light came on for just a second. Assumed the battery was already charged so got signed in and saw the battery was at 3% and not charging. Grabbed a multimeter to test the charger and saw it was putting out over 30 volts when it is rated for 19 volts output. Unable to power the laptop so plan to return.
Laptop is already broken. Not even 6 months. Horrible product
This computer was a huge loss and disappointed to me. I bought the laptop NEW. After having it 3 months and using it very little the computer screen went black and wouldn't turn back on. I contacted Gateway with details and pictures. I had to send it back for repairs and $35.00 shipping. I just got it back a few days ago, used it twice and BOOM same thing! The screen went blank and is unusable. Why do they have to REPAIR A NEW COMPUTER!! Save your money!!!
I love this computer except for the charger. Who ever design was trying to squeeze money out of the buyers. It's a stupid skinny round plug-in and it sticks straight out of the side. Mine already will not hardly charge because the charger doesn't plug in good now. Like 3rd charger I am going to have to have. I'm so mad. Way to much money to have to buy another computer but looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do. Really not cool. Gateway should have to replace it for me.
