I use mine to cut my premium indoor buds , and they work the best well worth the investment
I have been grooming dogs for 44 years. Many breeds grow fur (hair) in the corner of their eyes, and other sensitive areas. These scissors have been invaluable for trimming these areas. They are sharp and curved to point away from eyes. I can't work safely without them.
I didn't really realize how dull the old ones had gotten, and how nice these new ones would be.
Quality shears that out shine the others I looked at online.
I've used my Tweezerman tweezers for years and have been very happy with them, but I hadn't found facial hair scissors that I like so I bought two pairs of Tweezerman scissors for my husband and me. They're easy to use and are safe - but make no mistake, the cutting edges are sharp and do the job perfectly. We are very satisfied with these scissors and this is the only brand I'll buy in the future.
I bought these scissors to replace a pair from a cheaper, lesser known brand that I have owned for 8 years. Even though they are mustache scissors, I use them to cut the hair around my toy poodle's eyes, pads of the feet, and sanitary areas. They are curved with rounded tips so they make the perfect safety scissors for my needs. However, I paid almost twice as much for these Tweezerman mustache scissors vs the no name brand yet the no name, 8 year old scissors are still out-performing these brand new ones. I confusingly believed the Tweezermans were stainless steel yet they completely rusted in one single wash in the dishwasher. I wash my other mustache scissors as well as all other scissors in the dishwasher after cutting my dog's hair or my hair or if I cut something that gets them dirty. I've never had a single pair of scissors rust except for these Tweezerman. Even if you are using these scissors to cut your facial hair, I imagine they will be stored in a bathroom where they could get damp and you absolutely need to keep grooming tools sanitary, so how are you supposed to clean them without getting them wet? I don't let them sit and soak in water, I simply put them where the silverware goes in the dishwasher and run it. For 8 years, the cheap brand and all of my other scissors have done beautifully in the dishwasher, but the very first time I washed the Tweezerman—they rusted. I thought these were supposed to be stainless steel and that's why I bought them. I didn't NEED a second pair, but I thought it would be nice to have a spare and I also thought these scissors would be an upgrade to my 8 year old no names. My husband is very knowledgeable when it comes to tools and things and even he told me to order them. When he saw the rust, he said they absolutely cannot be stainless steel. Even if I immediately take them out of the dishwasher afterwards, they're already rusted! I hate it! These are brand new, they were expensive, and I can't return them because they came from a 3rd party seller and not Walmart. I don't know if they are fake Tweezerman or what, but I knew I shouldn't have bought from a 3rd party and I'll never do it again. I wish Walmart would go back to selling things that only come from them so that customers can feel secure with their purchases and return if needed. I'm still able to use the rusted scissors, but it's ridiculous and they look ugly, and I'm scared to leave them out on my bathroom counter even though I can leave my cheap ones out all day every day. What a shame and waste of money. I'm so disappointed and don't feel comfortable using rusted scissors near my dog's eyes so I barely use them at all. I am going to buy Tweezerman mustache scissors from a local business where I can see if they are the same quality as these. Unfortunately, Tweezerman mustache scissors are getting very hard to find so I'll have to order local soon AFTER I verify with the actual Tweezerman company that these are stainless steel.
