great phone for the money

Good for seniors. They will need someone to help with the tech early on but overall, a good choice. Voice commands are key.
I was looking for a simple to use smartphone for a developmentally challenged sibling who is also crippled by arthritis in her hands. This phone fit the bill perfectly, it's fairly simple to learn and use and it's not too expensive.
Ordered phone and received within 2 days and very happy with the added discounted price from Walmart and Called and activated service within couple of minutes,, Bought this phone for elderly friend that it is her first smart phone and it's working out good for her also..
Very easy to read, but making a phone call to someone on call list takes several steps. Kind of confusing. But in general, phone is good buy.
THE PHONE IS GREAT, BUT BEWARE WHEN BUYING IT, LIVLEY SERVICE IS THE ONLY ONE IT WORKS ON. AND MAKE SURE THERE IS SOMONE PHONE SAVVY ENOUGH TO PROGRAM IT. I WISH MORE CARRIERS WOULD SELL THE JITTERBUG 3, I PURCHASED FOR MY BROTHER WHO IS DISABLED, AND HAS ALWAYS HAD A FLIP PHONE, HE REALLY LIKES IT. AND HAS HAD NO ISSUES WITH USING IT. ALSO THEY ARE A $35.00 ACTIVAION FEE NO ONE MENTIONS IN ANY ADS. I DID SAVE $30.00 BUYING AT WALMART.COM
i bought this for my 72 year old grandma. she seems to like it, but its extremely slow. not to mention if you dont plan on using the "lively" service as your carrier expect to always have a HUGE display on the screen telling your loved one "SOMETHING IS WRONG". However, nothing is wrong except using a different carrier is cheaper and can get unlimited data. I myself am now activating their service because this poor old woman thinks "THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG", but the only issue is they arent collecting the service money. i would recommend buying any other android and installing a launcher that is for elderly.
The item is defective and it does not recognize the sims card and will not activate. We found this out after March 5th since it was a gift.
The phone might be a good purchase but after spending nearly an hour attempting to get the pone activated I finally gave up and tried another brand. one of the problems is the rude customer service and you can only use the phone with their Lively brand carrier. I finally gave up and donated th phone to Goodwill......waste of time dealing with rude people who do not seem to know what they are doing!!
