This is a great clock. It adds a touch of class to room. We have natural wood walls very similar to the wood on the clock. I believe it is real wood, although I have not picked at it to be certain. It does not chime, but the pendulum swings wide. I recommend this particular clock for it's value to class ratio. Will dress up any room--or makes a great gift.
great product, would definitely recommend it to anyone. Very stylish, pendulum swings when clock is in operation, adds charm to any living room. The best thing is the clock's value- that it looks a lot more expensive than it really is- it's really a great deal!
I love this clock. It is very stylish and the wood tone is beautiful. I have it on my living room wall and it matches some of the gold and woodtone in the space. I also love the fact that it has a gold pendulum that swings back & forth, and it has kept perfect time so far.
Beautiful clock, sharp design. Goes great with old fashioned and/or new decor. Looks more expensive than actual cost. Works perfectly. Pendulum adds lovely feng shui element of motion. Love it.
I purchased this clock for my living room and it looks very nice with my decor. I love the pendulum because of the look. But I also like that it does not tick or gong on the hours. I did not think the wood was that dark, but that was ok as my living room trim is lighter in color. It is very easy to hang on the wall, only uses one battery, and is a nice looking clock for the money.
The item was 12.00 cheaper at walmart.com than a competitors site, so I ordered it here. Took almost to the last minute with site to store shipping. Accurate description. Like the "mid-century modern" look of the clock.
This is a very attractive clock. I was very disappointed however when I opened up the box & it was severely scratched. It must have come from the factory that way because the scratches were inside the glass covering on the dial. I bought it as a Xmas gift for my grandmother.
First of all, this item is not DARK wood in my opinion, it's a light color wood. Secondly, it has room, as far as I can see, for one battery yet it calls for two.
Item was manufactured with defects (under the glass) - stratches and dents on the face. Very disappointed. Returned for a full refund. Thanks, Wal-Mart, for honoring your customer satisfaction commitment.
It was a great looking clock, and worked good for about a week. Then one morning when I looked at it, it was about three hours behind time. I reset it and it worked for a day and a half, and then was a couple of hours behind. Took it back and got my money back.
