I use this chopper just about every day and it still works like a charm even after 2 years. It's really great for chopping onions for chunky salsa. The trick for ease of use is to cut the item you want to chop in smallish size pieces (for example, cut a lg onion in half, then in 4 wedges). I especially love the way it chops potatoes for quick cooking (potato and turkey enchiladas!). This chopper is a key item in my Mexican kitchen and definitely worth the price.
Very easy to operate and fun to chop up fresh veggies or make quick salsa. Very easy to clean, just pop in the top shelf of the dishwasher.
I like this chopper. My suggestion, cut onions before using the chopper, so you chop smaller pieces, as the clear plastic joints that connect to the cover can break if you push too hard. The chopper provides the needed pieces to make your food more appealing and it safe your time.
I was occasionally using this chopper for last 6 months. When I tried last time, the bottom collector had broken. It is not worth for the price.
