Radio was out standing,easy to install,see good at night,noise indicator was great.

walmart gave me great service in terms of shipping.when i pulled the radio out of the box all I could say is WOW! the chrome is very sharp. I mounted the radio in a Toyota Tacoma. I have the 102" whip mounted to my aluminum tool box.I ran a ground wire from the mount to the frame of the truck. reason being my truck bed is all carbon plastic. there is no metal in the bed at all. I bought the most expensive coax I could find. I purchased 18' of it.(I needed about 10) I did not cut the coax. with this set up the Radio shines! I have less then 1 swr. and i did no tuning at all. the features this radio has are very,very handy. Remember...the radio doesn't come with coax. so get some before you start your install. no regrets on the radio at all. it looks good and works great. 5 star for sure!
I had this radio for 2 weeks. It works great and the blue display is not washed out by sunlight. The talkback on the radio is weak but www.cbtricks.com has a link showing how to turn up the talkback from inside the radio. The only thing is the meter is white and at night it's annoying. I prefer the black meter with the blue led behind it.
I bought this CB for my husband who is an OTR truck driver. He used it daily and loved it! He's had many CBs in the past and had various complaints about all of them, their adjustments, how they sounded, or how the displays looked at night. This is the only one he never had any complaints about. In fact, after his first Cobra Chrome CB radio was stolen out of this truck by some local punks, he asked me to purchase another one of these for him as his Christmas gift (just before he went back out on the road). He said it was the only CB he had ever had without any issues with and we both thought the price was extremely reasonable, especially since he would have had to pay 2X as much at a truck stop radio shop for the same CB.
I got a good deal on this CB. I saved $40.00! I paid the same price as the regular Cobra 29 on sale, but with the added feature of CHROME. I am happy because I got more for less. William B.

I bought one for a work truck, now my husband wants one.
The cobra 29 Ltd chrome is a good buy,its the same as a cobra 29 ltd classic but the cobra chrome has the nice custom look too it with the blue led light color. I order it and with in 5days it was at the walmart store I requested, I do my own tuning so the first thing i did was open it up and did a peak and tune, put a magnum echo board in it,sounds great! I was able tune the power and get 22 to 25 watts out of it, I recomand if you buy the cb and would like it tune up have a cb tech do it for you or there are some good youtube videos that are step by step easy to fellow to help you with the tune up. If your looking for a custom look, cobra 29 chrome is a good buy for the price.
