[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 19-year-old tiny chest freezer to this Frigidaire 14.8 Cu. Ft. because of its top rating, and I couldn't be more pleased! It fits perfectly at the head of my garage next to the kitchen door. It's spacious, quiet, on locking wheels for easy movement, (and as the wheels raise it up a bit higher than my old freezer, I don't have to bend over very far to reach items on the bottom!) I love the coldness dial and LED light. The baskets enhance organization. I agonized over getting a freezer this large, but I absolutely made the right decision! A large chest freezer allows you to organize your food items into sections (so you can see what's in there!) cook ahead, freeze fruits and vegetables in season, extend the life of pantry and bakery items, store meat, nuts, and eggs, and minimize grocery shopping! I can't believe I got this wonderful appliance at such a reasonable price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can keep almost a whole cow, lbs of pork, bread and lots of other food. The freezer is quiet, so thats nice. My only complaint, would be when it's closed. It will seal shut and is hard to open. I've just had to wait for it to de pressurize.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I bought this freezer about a month ago. We're so happy we decided on this one. We thought it might be to big but as you can see it's full. Plenty of room for all our meats and room to freeze other seasonal foods as you can see our boiled peanuts and fresh Georgia shrimp. A few selling points is the light on the outside to let you know it's on, the inside freezer light is bright and the sliding baskets are great. It came with two baskets and we ordered one more. Plus when we called Frigidaire to order the extra basket the customer service rep was awesome. She got the basket ordered for us and offered to register our freezer while on the phone. Overall, great freezer, we're loving it and the customer service was excellent.

Bought two of these, and both had SIGNIFICANT damage to the bottoms. I could fit my entire hand in some of the dents. It is clear that the production line knew of the damage. They tried to fill the dents with spray foam, but most of it fell off. The store I bought it from said that was common on Frigidaire appliances. I definitely don't recommend these. The damaged foam will greatly reduce the insulation value.

We emptied it out & ran hot water through the drain to make sure it wasn't blocked by ice, but still leaks. Pretty frustrating, but it seems like Frigidaire didn't expect it to stay fully functional for more than a year else you'd have given us a better warranty. :(
