I love it , it's 4k, it has night vision, it has speaker to talk , color %26 night vision, light status, ability to put your SD card in the slot to record and look at your past activities, A
Camera works just as I thought it would. The frame and casing of the V1 through the V3 are fully plastic and seem quite easy to break. I would like to see a "rugged" option to purchase that would be metal casing and of course waterproof like the V3 is already I believe. And some kind of hardware encryption for the SD card or a way for all my local cams to save on my LAN to a formatted partition of a hard drive on my desktop. Or something similar. I've had two cams total in my WYZE history end up stolen and of course they take the SD card not even knowing its in the cam or maybe they do. But they easily just got all 16 GB of my continuous recording. Which should not be that easily compromised guys. And also the WYZE Live View website has been out for a minute now; where are the upgrades? And please figure something out with Amazon AWS with the live feed time out. I believe thats the main point of the site is to view the live feeds. But they quickly time out. I do love the pop out view feature for the live feeds. Except if i use an extension on my browser to keep the tab alive and refreshed so the feeds stay alive it of course closes the pop out windows.
These cameras are AMAZING! The clarity of the picture no matter how much or how little light there is is awesome! The real time alerts make it easy to stay on top of tresspassers on our property. And the cost is so Affordable! I love the continuous recording option with a 32 GB memory card, it has paid off for me so many times already in a short span of maybe 2 months. I have approximately 80 of these cameras and will probably add more! Thank you Wyze for creating something that does what it is intended to do.
My son got me started on the Wyze cam and I am glad he did.. I now have 9 cams covering most rooms in the house as well as 3 cams outside. My latest addition - I had built our 'outside' cat a house made from a large plastic storage container , flooring of carpet scraps and insulation around it, plus 60 watt bulb (not LED) inside. However other critters ( local cats, raccoons, etc) seem to want inside also, so now she has her very own Wyze cam inside her house. I can monitor 'who is home'. My son and I also use "sharing", so when one of us is away, the other can monitor all cams. I highly recommend the Wyze cam (My experience is limited to the V3 model)
Great camera. Its crispy clear day and night. Wide angle is incredible. This picture is a night vision view. I recommend this product.
Purchased the WYZE cam v3 couple months back for outside use. Needed to keep an eye on my back yard. It's about 50 feet from my Wi-Fi and has excellent connectivity. Picture is better than I expected. Great camera for the value. 5 cameras and a doorbell. Thanks WYZE
Indig these little cams. If you are using them for a system to monitor real time, then it may not make sense. However, through lots of troubleshooting I have figured out that V3s don't do well with the older cameras if using a 3rd party app (tinycampro). Best if you hook whatever device is running that app directly to router rather than wireless. I love mine now. For the price you really can't beat it. The notification specifications and rules you can implement cover every plausible scenario. I don't have lots of experience using the AI face recognition software that it uses but I'm sure it's great. Oh, don't use aftermarket plugs or cables either…you'll be resetting the cams constantly. I love this company though and support it while it becomes a major player cause they clearly have smart people working for them. I love good old industry disrupter. Lastly, the new web portal is fantastic considering it just came out. I imagine once it's had more time to work out the kinks that it will unrivaled. I don't give 5 stars easily so don't read too much into the rating. Wyze is capable and that's why I am loyal for sure.
So far I'm happy with the camera's good quality, good price. Night vision is pretty good even under cloudy sky's, but much better with little light or moon light. Very easy to use and install. I only have the free basic plan and work for what i need it for. I used a 256MB mini card which gives plenty recording space. I will be buying 4 more.
I bought 2 of the V3's on pre-order and have had issues with both of them. When you try to view the live stream, the image and clock are stuck at an earlier time. The Kb/s are changing like it is streaming, but the video never changes. If you View Playback, the timeline moves like it should, but the video never changes. Reboots and power cycles don't have any affect. I applied the new updates today and the app (ios) is up to date. I still have the same problem. My other 8 Wyze cams (V2 and outdoor) work just fine.
The cam stopped working after 3 months, now it is showing half of view and remaining half is coming as black. Walmart also didn't help since 4 months have passed.
