Very good addition to the home gym. Love the variable weight options and ease of selection.
I read a lot of negative comments about the comfort of the handles but I can easily fit both of my hands there and use it for all my usual exercises with no problem. It is a pleasure working out with these. Not to mention that look pretty with all other Bowflex adjustable weights. I only wish it came with 15 lbs setting but I make it work with the 12 and 20 lbs. I live in a very small apartment and space is limited. The kettlebell along with my Bowflex adjustable dumbbells are great for taking up minimal space. I get through creative workout with ease as changing waits is very simple! I felt soreness in places I forgot about with the kettlebell!
I use this for full body routines, I use it for arms, I use it for legs, I use it for core. This is the perfect at home deceive. It's compact, it's amazing quality, and it gives you a full range of usable weights
I use this product almost daily and it's so convenient to be able to switch weights on the fly. There is a little getting used to the switching of weights. It's not as smooth to change like the SelectTech 552 that I own, but once you get used to it, it's not a problem at all. I really enjoy the space saving and I use them like regular kettlebells.
This is a great tool for at home physical exercises without all the clutter of many loose kettle bells!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been an avid workout from home person for some time now, primarily with a name-brand suspension trainer system. When I adjusted my goals to build more muscle mass, I added the Bowflex SelectTech 560 Dumbbells to my equipment inventory about a year ago and saw fantastic results with them. I've recently begun studying to become a NASM-CPT and have always wanted to explore kettlebell training more. The Bowflex SelectTech 840 Kettlebells were the perfect way to get started! I ordered two of them and now incorporate at least two kettlebell exercises with them into every circuit I do. The exercises you do with a kettlebell work muscle stabilization, endurance, and strength all together (plus cardiorespiratory) and not to mention can be way more fun than a static exercise done with a machine or traditional weights. I'm hooked on these and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to spice up their working out from home routines!
I like the ability to do different kind of strength training, so easy to set up and very sturdy. Love using the application and following the different exercises.
The one thing that I would say could be better is the base. When I store kettlebell, it goes on the base, but it also needs the base when in use to hold the plates. There should be a way for the bell and the plates to stay attached to the base while it is being moved from storage to use.
Great equipment, been using for a few weeks now and there doesn't appear to be any quality issues. My only call out is the weight distribution is different than your standard kettlebell. Took me a few workouts to adjust so not a major issue but something worth noting. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing multiple weights for a home gym.
