My grandkids broke my scale and it was too cold to go out to find a new one, so I ordered this one. Came much quicker than expected. It is really a quality-looking scale and seemed to weigh in the same amount each time (which I wish was less, but the holidays got to me, LOL). Very nice
Easily weighed my 15.5 lb. grandbaby as well as her parents who use the scale daily. The scale is accurate and extremely easy to read the large 2 inch digital numbers. I have owned a scale like this for several years and my daughter and her family borrowed it frequently after their baby was born and love it. In fact, they said it is addictive as they weigh themselves daily when they first get up. They were delighted to have this scale as a gift for their home, and I was happy to get my borrowed scale back home.
Lightweight. Easy to move and store (handle is part of the design). Easy to read display. Scale is accurate and weighs in increments of tenths of a pound. I bought it to keep track of my senior cats weights as I support them through their health issues. I'm happy I can check my weight now too! Reading previous reviews helped me decide this was the scale I wanted. It was a great purchase; an excellent product at a great price.
Easy to use, very accurate, high quality... If your belly protrudes out to where you can't see your feet you can step off the scale and read your weight before the LED display shuts off... BTW , The best place to put this scale is in the kitchen next to the fridge ... it's not an ugly bathroom scale...Blends right in with the kitchen... It actually looks like some sort of kitchen appliance... I'm here to help... LOL
It is much better than the old one we had which was not digital. It comes with batteries, but make sure you check them as they were moved around a bit from shipping, and just needed to be re-positioned. This arrived through site to store at our local Wal-Mart ahead of the expected delivery date so we are also happy with the service.
Excellent scale, works perfectly. Handles up to 440 lbs so more than sufficient for the majority of people. Accurate and easy to use. Much better than my last scale which was also digital but after a few years was as much as 20lbs off. While this one is setting the final weight reading it shows you the weight, my last scale did not show you the weight until it finished calculating which was very frustrating because it also often ended with an error. This one shows you each estimate until it locks in the final which is great, give you an idea of what it's fluctuation level is if any at all.
Only complaint is that for accurate and stable display you must step on than off so that the reading does not fluctuate. Not a major problem but something inconvenient that you must remember to do. I believe they even say that in the instructions if I remember it correctly.
I read allot of the bad reviews on this and other scales, and they all seemed the same. So I bought this one cause it only does what my wife wants, weigh her. It has no," bells or whistles" as she puts it. Next, I read the manual and sure enough, it tells you, you must first stand on, and off the scales, then back on. This calibrates the scales. If you don't do that, you get the bogus stuff that was in the bad reviews. It further says if you move the scales, you have to do the simple process over again. There are two things I find wrong, 1. It is about 5 lbs. light. 2. You have to stand on it for a few moments to lock the weight in if you need to step off to read it. I have to do this several times, so guess it is back to the manual to see what I am doing wrong. But like anything new, READ THE MANUAL FIRST. Don, retired licensed aircraft mechanic.
After installing the batteries the unit worked the first day. The second day the unit would not come on. We installed new batteries thinking the ones that came in the box might be old/bad. The unit worked that day but would not come on the next. If we would play with the batteries by moving them around it would work again for one day. Did not want to have to play with the batteries each day so returned.
I specifically purchased this scale for a fitness challenge I was doing. It worked great for the first three weeks; then when it came time to do my final weigh in, it won't zero out. There is always .7 lbs on the scale. Ive changed the batteries, Ive done the step on/step off thing numerous times to try to re-calibrate/tare, Ive changed the surface it is sitting on. At this point, that .7 is causing me to lose the challenge. Will be returning it.
