I was determined that i would use my bike and not just hang clothes on it, like i have every piece of equipment i have ever bought! But i didn't have to be because, i immediately loved it just after the first time! It is very comfortable for a 64 yr old obese person with a trashed back! All the preset programs are nice and just to punch a added resistance number on the side to perk it up is great! I truly love it & am so happy i took the chance by buying it! #SWEEPSTATES It is already helping me immensely! I haven't gotten the VR equipment yet that you can hook up to the app program but i have checked it all out and can't wait to try it!
Using bike for at home workouts during quarantine to keep moving and help stay healthy. This bike does the trick. It is sturdy, has good resistance levels to challenge myself. Have not tried the imbedded speakers or the virtual reality connection but plan to. Also like the Bluetooth connectivity with the Schwinn app in my phone. Just another way to keep me accountable! Great product for home use!
I love riding a bike outdoors but where we currently reside ( middle of nowhere Texas) it is TOO HOT to bike ride outdoors over half of the year. My husband asked me what I wanted for our Anniversary and I showed him a photo of this Schwinn Recumbent Bike . He actually ordered it for me. After 42 years of marriage he finally got me something I really wanted . I ride it every day. It is very comfortable and I love that it is quiet so I can peddle away while I watch my game shows . At 62 years of age I love that I am exercising my mind and my body at the same time ! It has also helped me do better on my physical therapy after having knee surgery. It doesn't take up a lot of room. I simply love it!
I use bike 2 hours a day at 1 hour intervals. It is mostly comfortable for that one hour, but it should be entirely comfortable for people that use it for 30 minutes at a time or less. I've wanted one of these for a decade, and now that I own my own and can use it however and whenever I want during the pandemic, it has helped to make me feel confident, energetic, and healthier. It has definitely helped to improve my strength and energy. You can modulate the settings with a simple interface. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a low impact exercise experience.
My gym closed in March, and I realized after a few months it wasn't going to open again any time soon. This bike is similar to the ones I'd use all the time at the gym, but this one is easier to use, has more options and features, and gives me a better overall workout. I've been extremely happy with it, and it's given me a great way to stay active as the cold weather arrives. #sweepstakes
The box arrived in great shape with just a couple of superficial gouges. It unboxed easily, and everything was well protected. Assembly, mostly by myself in about an hour, was a breeze because instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were clearly identified. I powered it up and it worked perfectly. Now, a month later, everything is still working perfectly. It's a comfortable workout that's great for an easy ride, or for working up a sweat. I downloaded the Schwinn Trainer app on my iPad so I can track my progress. I could not be more pleased and have zero complaints.
It's solid and quiet and fits against the wall in my family room so I can watch tv or listen to my ebooks without the need for headphones or earbuds. It's proximity also helps remind me to jump on daily. Afterward thirty minutes of moderate to high resistance, I feel like I've gotten a solid aerobic session without overdoing it (I'm 59), or the pounding that running, or even an elliptical machine might subject my joints to. I will make one suggestion. The outside round edge of the front base bar is super sharp. My third day I managed to gouge a large piece of my little toe out by just brushing against it as I went by. It was so sharp I didn't even feel I'd done more than slightly stub it until, a room later, I saw all the blood. Took about a week before I was healed enough to use it again (or wear a shoe). I pulled out the chunk of dried flesh from the stand that evening and then the round part in gaffers tape to prevent a recurrence, but this defect should be dealt with quickly by Schwinn before they ship another bike.
This is a substitute for gym visits because of the covid19 pandemic. It suits my needs fine.
We recently received our Schwinn recumbent bike. It took me about two hours to assemble it by myself. Nothing complicated either. Thus far it operates really well. The manual refers to how to set the current date. However I could not find any program or feature for doing so. Maybe this model doesn't ha e that feature. We haven't gone through all of the program features just yet. But the manual seems to be user-friendly. Glad we purchased this bike.
Well my item was delayed one day because apparently it was dropped or ran over or something because the box was destroyed. So instead of sending it back because my item was damaged (even had dirt on it from the incident) they just pieces the crushed styrofoam back together and taped the box up and delivered it a day later. When I got the item it was dented and I still can’t get the heart monitor to work. I called Walmart and they was ME to send this item back…it should never have gotten delivered in the first place so now I’m stuck paying for a damaged, defective item because of the shipper’s negligence.
