A really sturdy reliable ride that is not only fun, but functional as well. Loving the color, too! I live in the city and haven't had any issues with connectivity. Smooth ride and I anticipate getting great use of it.
I absolutely love my Bird ! There was some skepticism because of the reviews. She rides good , I haven't had any issues with the app . Did disconnect twice but after I was already done ridding scooter not sure what type of interference it was. Other than that enjoy a treat to your self save some cash on gas and fly !
Great sleek design with strong battery and rides great. I like this brand because it works with Bird ap and you can lock. If stolen you can track as well as Bird with GPS included. Also, Bird can repair unit as well, which is great bonus. Worth the extra money with these key features.
I brought the scooters for my girlfriend and myself for Christmas. I ignored the bad reviews because we use bird at every city we go to. I mean we probably spent over $1000 renting the scooter. So I figured why not try and save some money. Huge mistake. Mine was fully charged and lost about 10% every couple of feet on top of that we go back home when it's at 68% and it just dies in the driveway, while the app is still up and claiming it had a 68% charge. My charger doesn't fit right and was a pain in the butt to get it to charge. Don't waste your money it's not worth it. If you're looking for a sign this is it.
So far our Bird is very unpredictable. It will run and then stop 10 minutes into the ride. Customer service has been terrible and we have called multiple times and always get a voicemail stating agents are busy and to call back another time. My son was so excited when he got this Bird and alive become extremely frustrating with the quality
The first time I received the scooter it was completely DOA and had to send it back for a replacement unit. In theory, this would be a great scooter if it worked consistently with the ap as the scooter itself is pretty fast and fun to ride. There are several issues however. The advertised battery life is probably double or 1.8x the real world battery life that I have experienced to date. The biggest issues however are how the ap is integrated with the scooter. To use/unlock the scooter it has to be paired with your phone. You can lock the scooter or put it to sleep from the ap. Regardless of the mode or the time of day, the headlight and brakelight on my scooter are always on, this is problematic. I have had to contact support to 'unlock' the scooter multiple times as trying to unlock it from the ap has not worked on multiple occasions. The problem with the scooter is that when you go to use it and unlock it from the ap, you can never be sure if it's actually going to work and start up or if you will have to contact support. All of this hassle just to ride the scooter. This is a pain and I regret buying this.
I can't believe that I've only had this bird for a couple years and HARDLY use it. It's a shame a company this big can allow their product to shut down after only a couple hundred miles when they claim it can last up to 15,000-20,000 miles. I paid almost $1,000 for this only to have it not work anymore. Extremely frustrating that it has stopped working and it has to be something internal. I have never wrecked it or caused it any damage to it. I wouldn't be so upset if it wasn't so expensive and clearly has not maintained a long life span.
Weak on hills weak brakes gps drains the battery alot. Shipping such that wires get damaged. Very difficult to align handlebar pole spacer to allow lateral safety screw to fit in.
I can't get this to consistently work. After connecting this to the Bluetooth and wi-Fi to unlock, I tried to ride it, but it refuses to go. It went out originally ok, but now it's just not willing to go.
Does anybody know with this person is posting the scooter for 499 but he is delaying the items and later on canceling the item ????
