The Samsung A12 does have a long lasting battery and good features. Deleted unnecessary apps but do like the phone so far. Not a big camera or game user so I don't know how it compares to other phones but it definitely meets my needs and it is not slow for my use.
Just just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy A12 SM-S127DL cell phone. It was delivered in a timely manner. Phone was activated with no issues and functions successfully. Like the new phone a lot. The camera is very nice. Phone shipped with Android 10 and upon activating was quickly updated to Android 11. Very good. Highly recommend this phone.
Purchased the A12 a few weeks ago. Used the Samsung switch app & everything transferred so easily. Phone is easy to use & wonderful camera. Very satisfied. I'm sure there's so much more interesting way of features, still exploring
I bought my a12 a week or 2 ago and I'm not impressed with the features preset on it. You can pay to download stuff and download free stuff If you know what your doing. Storage is not really good at all needs to be larger.but for the price it's not a bad little.phone.
Actually I had to buy a new phone for updated Android OS to be able to download an app for a security camera. I did not want to spend a lot of money. This phone seems to be quite good. Previous phone was Samsung Sky Pro 7. What was really wonderful right off the bat I was able to transfer all info from old phone to new. Smart Switch came right up after I charged it and turned it on.
the phone would have received 5 stars but I took one off for weight. At 7 ounces it's heavier than the rest. But the battery stays charged for for a long time.
Every thing about this phone is great except for one thing. I needed to call 911 to report an accident. A pop-up appeared asking if I wanted to add that number to my contacts. It did not put the call through. Luckily someone else was able to make the call and get EMS.on the way. Thinking that maybe Samsung over thought this a bit too much
I bought this phone to replace an LG Stylo 5 whose LCD went bad after just 2 years. I really liked the LG. The Samsung is about the same size as the LG and has a fingerprint scanner, too. However, unlike the LG, the scanner is the small, narrow on/off button (instead of on the back) which is difficult for me to use as I'm left handed and need to use my thumb on the button. It seems it's more suited to right handers who can reach the button much more easily with their index finger. Also, the Samsung is slower than the LG. It takes longer to start from a shutdown.
Only bought this because I had a 2g flip phone and had to upgrade to 4g 5g and there were none 4g 5g flip phones, so was forced to buy a smart phone which I never ever wanted in the first place. It took me 2 days to activate it, and a week to learn how to use basic functions . All I wabtd was a Cell phone to make calls in emergencies.
I have had this Samsung A12 for over 3 months and had problems from the start. I do not think I am a picky person, I just use my phone for call and text. At first I was not was not able to receive text from iPhone user friends because the texted were going to my old iPhone. Then I could not send or receive pictures thru text messages. I was told I needed a new sim card, then some how I had used up all my 12 GB of Data. Some how the phone has my wife information like her E-mail. I keep hearing the phone go on for workouts and God knows what else. I did not nor my wife set up any of this things. I have turned off the calendar, Wi-Fi, Data roaming, and lots of other thing in hope that I will not need to buy more Data. It has been working OK for a week now, I hope it stays that way.
