I've been so happy with the Anker PartyCast speaker since I first powered it on. The sound is truly amazing and there is so much it can do. I can only think of a few potential drawbacks, which are all inherent in the design and level of quality. Pros: It's waterproof, with the ports protected by a beefy rubber cover that keeps out moisture. It's very sturdy. The case is solid and I'm sure it can stand up to a lot of abuse. The controls are easy to use and laid out nicely near the handle. It can be positioned upright to save space or horizontal for better separation between left and right tracks. The lights on the speaker are really cool and add to the party atmosphere, but you can turn them off if needed. The BassUp option truly adds bass. You can crank it up and you don't get the feeling that it's going to blow or hear any rattles or vibrations. The mid and high ranges are balanced right out of the box, but the Soundcore app allows you to adjust the settings to suit your taste. The sound is incredible. The bluetooth connection process was easy. The bluetooth range was at least 35 or 40 feet in my backyard. I found the advertised 18-hour runtime to be accurate. That's a long time for a portable speaker of this size. It took me about 5 hours to charge it after running it down to 10% power. It provides the ability to link other PartyCast speakers so you could theoretically create a group of speakers that I can only imagine would be similar to a concert experience. I would have loved to give this functionality a try. Access to the ports allows you to access content from your device via USB or charge your device. There is also a line-in. When charging your device, it is not a fast-charging connection and it seems to be on par with most portable phone chargers I have used. You can download the Soundcore app and there are options to equalize the sound, control the lights, DJ effects and other goodies. It's a very cool app. Cons The unit is pricey if you just look at cost alone. In my opinion, the cost is justified when you consider how many portable bluetooth speakers the average person buys and, in most cases, those leave a lot to be desired. If you opt for this speaker upfront, you won't be disappointed. The unit is larger and heavier than a lot of other speakers, so you have to take that into consideration. This is understandable given the quality of construction and the sound it can put out. The included charger is proprietary so you have to remember to bring it with you if you are concerned with the battery running down while you are away from home. To recap, the Pros far outweigh the cons for this speaker. It's not only functional but fun. I love it!
Recently acquired Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast and this speaker is amazing! The sound from this little speaker is unbelievable, great bass great highs and loud! The Bluetooth pairing is easy and quick and works at a great distance from your MP3 player. I am impressed on the battery life; it plays all night with no problem. Amazed that it's waterproof and love the inclusion that allows you to power your phone from the USB port on the speaker. The party lights are cool and dance with the music, there are many presets in the unit to change the pattern of the lights. You can download a phone app to change the pattern of the lights as well as add an EQ to change the sound of this speaker from your phone. Let me say I have owed many products by this company; the quality and sound are always amazing. The quality of their products is always the best, with the best fit and finish, the high quality of the components makes Anker Soundcore one of my favorite companies! I love this speaker! The flashing lights, the sound both bass and not! Battery life is definitely as described. The volume can go very very loud. You will not be disappointed. You can change colors on the lights and turn off if you want to. Hooking up to bluetooth is fast. Download its app and do even more fun stuff with it. I use it every day in my house. Can't wait for the next party outside. My neighbors will be thrilled!
Omg this Anker soundcore Rave partycast speaker is awesome. The sound is great and very clear. It was easy to connect my phone to it and get the party started in My room. It has some weight to it but is light and can be taken anywhere. Charging is quick and last awhile. I charged yesterday afternoon and still able to listen to today. The bass and sound are great as well as the lights Which you control. Its easy to set up. It comes with the speaker and charging adapter. Far as size its big and as I stated before light enough to carry anywhere. I'm not sure what the distance is in Bluetooth AS far as how far you can be out of reach but I can move through out my Apartment and that works for me. I also find it to be stable and of good quality.
This Anker Partycast speaker is awesome. It is bluetooth along with a cord if needed. It measures approximately 14 inches high with the handle for easy carrying. The sound is excellent. It is also waterproof for your pool parties. So much fun. It also has lights on it for the party effect. I love it!
This Anker Soundcore portable lighted speaker sounds great and looks really cool. 100 other speakers can be connected at once which I bet would look and sound amazing. It has an 80w output with bass boost. The bluetooth connects very easily and quickly. The speaker has all function buttons on top of unit but can also be fully controlled from an app. The Soundcore app is my favorite feature. You can control all speaker functions from the app along with changing the lighting system. App also includes phrases like "Oh yean" and "Get ready". However, there is a one second delay from pushing a button on the app ie "Drum 1" before you hear it from speaker. Speaker is very durable, sturdy, waterproof and easy to carry at 15lbs by the handle. Unit stands about a foot tall or can be laid landscape style depending on your preference. Speaker includes wall charging cable and charges fairly quickly. Haven't fully tested time but speaker should last 18+ hours of continuous playback.
Just got this a few days ago, here are my thoughts. First, me and hubby paired this with our phones and it sounds great! It paired with both of our phones easily and flawlessly. I love that feature! Now when I'm cooking in the kitchen I don't have to carry my phone around when I get a call. Next, we paired his playlist, and the Partycast sounded AWESOME! The volume and bass are insane! The speaker sounds crisp and clear, and it doesn't distort when the volume is turned up loud. This has a ton of bass even without the bass boost enabled. We have only played this 5 hours at the longest so far, so I can't say if the battery lasts for 18 hours as advertised or not. One of my favorite features of the Partycast is I love that the lights beat in sync with the song! So cool! It has a button where you control the bass, and one to turn on/off the lights. This speaker also has an app so you can set the lighting and change it up to however you like. Me and my husband are both music lovers, and can't wait until the warmer weather to use this as we're working in the yard, grilling out, setting by the fire-pit, or taking it to the lake! You can even charge your phone/tablet off the speaker which is a nice extra... The pics I attached doesn't come close to showing the brilliance of these lights...they are much more bright and vibrant in real life...So far, I'm very impressed with this speaker to say the least.
The Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast speaker came packaged well. The box contains the speaker, AC adapter, and instructions. I connected the AC adapter to charge the battery and turned the power button on. There are 4 dots by the power button to show if the battery is charging or if the battery is fully charged. Mine came at 50% charged. All of the function buttons are located on top of the speaker but I recommend downloading the Soundcore app found in the Google Play Store or App Store to control all of the speaker features from your phone. This app lets you control the volume, lights (colors/effects/on/off), equalizer (preset or custom), and Bass UP (on/off). There's also a party games feature and Light DJ that has more light and sound effects. My phone synched with the speaker's Bluetooth immediately. The sound this 80W speaker produces is clear and powerful and the Bass Up Technology definitely adds to the overall sound quality. The speaker case is durable, has a built in handle, and is designed to either stand vertically or lay on rubber feet horizontally. It's definitely a great speaker and I like that it is made for outdoor use as well since it is IPX7 fully waterproof. There is a rubber cover on the back that conceals the DC IN, USB, and AUX ports. This speaker has up to 18 hours of play time on the fully charged battery and it has a bonus feature of using the USB port to keep your phone charged up while playing music. There is also the option to have a dual phone connection to take turns playing music. We tried this out and it worked great with both of our phones. Partycast allows you to sync up sound and light across 100+ speakers. If I decide to add an additional speaker I appreciate that it's ready to play. I'm looking forward to using this speaker on my patio, camping, and at family gatherings. It's a very portable speaker with awesome sound.
I LOVE this speaker!!! The sound you receive from this speaker is amazing! It is so easy to blue tooth your phone to this wireless speaker. It is so easy and then you will be listening to the most amazing sound. It is a beautiful black. It has gorgeous bright colored lights that move to your music and change colors. The colors are so bright and pretty that my pictures do it no justice. It is sturdy and a nice fun size. There is a handle on top for carrying. It has the most amazing sounding bass. Kind of bass you can feel and hear. This is also waterproof and you can use it as a charger. This speaker is beautiful, has the most gorgeous light show, is so fun and has an amazing sound! My whole family loves this speaker. I highly recommend!!
The bass on the speaker is awesome. Treble just ok but it still sounds great. I did not get any papers at all with the speaker. I downloaded the app and really that is all you need, everything is in the app. All specs all listed on the box but it doesn't give it justice.You can to much to mention. This speaker sounds so good and you can also hook up a mic to the back of it, charge your devices like a power bank, and the playing power is all day long. Just charge it of a night and use it the next day. The light show I really could care less about but all the kids and grandkids love it. You can link more speakers to it if you need more treble or just want to have fun with it. I didn't care much for the sound with 3 other speakers bluetoothed in, I liked it better with it by itself. It will be well used camping and by the pool the summer that is for sure.
