The best for cleaning your humidifier. Needs to come in a gallon size.
Although the packaging was sub-par and the bottle had opened a little and leaked when it arrived, there was still enough cleaner for me to de-gunk, clean, etc. my humidifier. I had neglected it for a while and it had sat for weeks with a few inches of water in it, so it was disgusting, to say the least. I used the entire bottle (what was left of it) and it did an excellent job of descaling my humidifier. the only thing that would improve it is if it came with a pipe cleaner or scrub brush of sorts to get inside the humidifier with. I would purchase this again and in bulk.
This is a must if you use your humidifier like I do and it get the hard water build up, this helps break it down and have your humidifier running like new.
Works really great to clean the humidifier. Like the insert also.
Works great for all of my home humidifiers
Very efficient. I liked using this much better than vinegar.
Follow instructions, and it dissolves calcium scale, lime and mineral deposits effectively. I would buy this again to do cleanup regularly.
Not what I thought but will try it .
not great not bad either very over priced
I bought this descaler/cleaner for a warm-mist humidifier I use in my bedroom. I noticed a lot of white scaling on the heating element. It looked like calcium. I used an old toothbrush first, applied the Crane cleaner and let it sit for a half-hour. Scraping the element removed very little of the deposit. Next I filled the humidifier basin, put the element in and made sure the water level was high enough to contact the element. I poured in roughly an eigth of a bottle and let it sit for a half hour. Same result. This stuff may work for some people, it didn't work for me. Maybe it's the city water. I cured the problem by switching to a cool mist humidifier with a replaceable filter.
