What a nice little toothbrush. People in the commercials always say “it's just like I went to the dentist for a cleaning”. Well, they aren't lying. It took about 10 seconds to unpack and plug in. I immediately tried it out and fell in love. The brush is soft enough and firm enough. The speed is ridiculous. The charging dock is not intrusive on the counter and the cleaning you get just feels fantastic. I have found myself prolonging my brushing sessions because the massage this gives my gums is mesmerizing. It just feels really GOOD. When I'm done I can feel the difference all day. Since, it does feel so good I find myself brushing more often and more effectively. I do have some sensitive teeth and I was afraid this would bother them. To the contrary even using this with normal toothpaste the sensitivity has dulled and all of my teeth feel better. It's also a real joy for brushing your tongue and the roof of your mouth. The only odd thing is that it tickles my lips! I have had to start pulling my lips back to avoid direct contact with the brush. It's kind of like the sensation you get from using a kazoo for too long, not bad really just strange. It's a fantastic product which delivers outstanding results.
This tooth brush is awesome. I like that it gets my teeth super clean, and I like that feeling a lot. I can get into hard to reach spots that I could not get into before, and the virbration in my mouth along my gums is like a little massage in my mouth. Once you press the button, and brush for two minutes, it automatically shuts off which lets you know your done. When i'm finished, I rinse the head real good and replace it back on the brush and put it on the charger so that I always know it's charged. This is a great toothbrush, that you can travel with too because it comes with a hygenic travel cap, and the charger is portable as well. There's also a battery level indicator light that tells you when you should charge your toothbrush. The instruction booklet included is very simplied, and explains every thing you need to know about your new toothbrush. This toothbrush would make a great toothbrush for the kids as well. I highly recommend it.
This Philips Sonicare Plaque Control replaces a different version I had for 10 plus years. I really like this one. It is simple and straight forward. This model is very easy to use. It has a start-up regime that gradually intensifies the pulsations over the first 14 uses so that first time users can get accustomed to it. But that cycle is easily skipped over if you do not want to utilize that feature. My teeth get super clean and my gums feel great, I love it. I notice a big difference than when I just use a manual toothbrush. It is straight forward. Charge the unit on the base, fully charged is indicated by the green light on the handle. Just push the start button and brush, it automatically shuts off in 2 minutes. The indicator light turns yellow to let you know when the battery is getting low. I keep mine on the base when I'm not using it, so it is always charged. Another thing I really like about it is it's so easy to keep clean. No built up gunk under a screw on head like my old one. Just snap off the head and rinse both parts thoroughly. The replacement heads for this model are less expensive than my previous sonicare, which is always a plus. Very happy with my new sonicare!

YOU CAN ALSO EASILY CARRY THIS ON TRIPS AS IT IS COMPACT AND HAS ITS OWN CHARGER. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a few weeks to get accustomed to this brush after retiring a different power unit. My hygenist tells me that my gums are in excellent shape all a result of using these power tooth brushes. Brushing with just a toothbrush simply doesn't leave my mouth feeling with the same super clean experience as with this power brush.
This toothbrush definitely makes your teeth feel smooth and clean. My mouth feels like I just went to the dentist! As soon as I received the package, I immediately opened it so I could plug it in and get it charging. It took about 18 hours for the green light to stop blinking and indicate the brush was fully charged. (It is usable before it's completely charged.) The charger has a long, 4-foot cord. It also has a plastic cover to protect the brush and keep it clean. The small brush fits easily and comfortably in my mouth. The bristles are nice (not too soft or hard.) The unit automatically shuts off at 2 minutes, which is the recommended amount of time for brushing. This particular model does not offer the quadrant timer, so you decide how long to brush each section of your mouth. I've been using this toothbrush for 10 days (twice a day) and so far it's still going strong without being re-charged. I noticed in the morning, that there isn't any rough, plaque spots on my teeth. It still feels clean, although the “morning breath” is still there! Also, I still need to floss and I continue to rinse with mouthwash. I would recommend this toothbrush for its effectiveness and ease of use. I find the sonic sensation to be a little strange. My lips and tongue continue to tingle for a little while after using this toothbrush. It also tickles a bit while using it!
I've never been a fan of electric toothbrushes but this one is pretty nice. It leaves my teeth feeling like I just had them cleaned at the dentist. It's supposed to last up to two weeks without being recharged, but I haven't tested that out yet. It's powerful!! At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep using it or not because it's so intense that it tickled my mouth horribly! After using it a couple of times I did get used to it, and it doesn't seem as bad now. According to the information booklet, it's supposed to start out gently and get more intense gradually over the next 13 uses to slowly get you more comfortable with it. I have not noticed any change in intensity at all. Once you press the button to start, it will stay on for two minutes (the recommended brushing time), and the it shuts itself off. It says in the instructions that if you push the button to turn it off during the two minutes, it will go into a 30 second pause mode and then turn itself back on for the remainder of the two minutes, but mine has never done so. I would say that this product is definitely worth the money. After using it, I just can't imagine going back to regular toothbrushes. This one gives amazing results!
The Philips Sonicare Plaque Control toothbrush is super convenient because essentially, it is only two parts. The upper part is the bristle, and lower part is the handle with the power button. To assemble the toothbrush, or to take it apart for cleaning, all you have to do is pull the two ends apart and it comes out really easy. (Super easy to clean and use) I also like how this toothbrush is like my iPhone because there is an outlet where I am able to recharge my toothbrush. In the past, I used electric toothbrushes that require batteries, and for me, it was really annoying to always have to put in new batteries every time the toothbrush died. However, with this toothbrush, it is really easy, cause all you have to do is just place the toothbrush on this charging stand that needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet (like charging a phone!) Super convenient in my opinion, which is why I think this toothbrush is great for traveling. The bristle is really small, which can be a good and bad thing. The good thing about the small bristle is the fact that I am able to reach places in my mouth that will otherwise be really hard to reach. The bad thing about the small bristle is the fact that I probably have to move more to clean my entire teeth surface area. But in a way, I kind of like the small bristle since it can conveniently reach places (i.e. back of mouth) easily. The first time I used this toothbrush, I felt like my teeth was so squeaky clean. This toothbrush also automatically stops after 2 minutes, so I basically just turn on the toothbrush and go about my business until it stops by itself. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family!
This toothbrush is another good Sonicare product. It was a replacement for an E-series and there are a few differences of not. First, this toothbrush is lighter. That's an advantage when we want to move our kids to an electric toothbrush. Second, it doesn't have the beep reminders to switch mouth sections (Sonicare recommendation if 30 seconds brushing each mouth quadrant) but that's not a big deal in my mind. The final difference is that the base on this toothbrush is smaller and doesn't have the cord-wrapping spindle on the underside. At first I thought I would like the smaller base, but we ended up having to tie the cord to prevent it from extending across the counter. The cleaning capability of this brush is great and I always get compliments from my dentist about how clean my teeth are.
First time using an electric toothbrush can be a little awkward. You think you need to move your hand vigorously as if it was a regular manual toothbrush, but actually you don't. Because the Philips Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush creates 31,000 strokes per minute, I only need minimal movements to get all my teeth cleaned. I do like the design; it looks great and has only one button. I feel like the device is simple and effective. Just after using it once, I can feel my teeth have been thoroughly cleaned. After turning on the The Philips Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush, the Smartimer is automatically activated. The Smartimer is an automatic timer that turns off your Sonicare toothbrush after 2 minutes. This is to encourage people to brush their teeth for at least 2 minutes, which are recommended by Dental professionals. This saves you the trouble of having to go get a timer to make sure you are brushing for at least 2 minutes. The one thing I wish this particular model would provide is the Quadpacer interval timer. The Quadpacer interval timer is a feature that certain models of Philips Sonicare Toothbrushes provide. When the toothbrush is turned on, the toothbrush will beep every 30 seconds to indicate that it is time to move onto a different quadrant of your mouth, therefore, you will have more precise timing of brushing in each section of your mouth. But besides that, everything about the Philips Sonicare Plaque Control Toothbrush is great. Works well and looks great for the price. Plus it includes a small charger which is small and compact, makes it great for travelling. Cleaning teeth has never been easier.
