This is a really solid, smooth treadmill with easy-to-use controls. I bought this from my local Walmart store and put it together myself with very little assistance from my husband, other than him bringing it in the house, lifting the heavy base, and tightening some bolts for me. The directions could have been better, but if you study the diagrams for each step, it eventually makes sense. This treadmill runs great and I really like the one year of included iFit way more than I thought I would. All of the interactive workouts make the time go by fast and keep it interesting and entertaining. There are thousands of workouts to choose from, and many different trainers who offer fitness advice, reminders, and fun facts about the area they are in. You can see terrain, cities, mountains, beaches, and landmarks from all over the world. The subscription works for up to 5 people, and I can also use it with my iFit Pro-form recumbent bike. Yes, you have to create an account and put a card on file to be charged in a year when this subscription expires, but you can also go into your account afterwards and cancel the automatic payment if you don't want it to charge your card in a year. You can use the treadmill without it, but its so worth it to set up an account. The incline and speed will automatically adjust to the workout you are doing, so if the trainer is going up a hill, so are you. Im pleased with how well this works and all the functions of this treadmill. I highly recommend it!
I've had this treadmill for several months and for the money, it's worked really well! Originally, I purchased this to complement my SE9i Nordicktrack elliptical that I bought direct from their website. When I compare the two, there are few quality issues that I can find between the expensive one and this budget treadmill. The screen on this treadmill looks to be actually bigger than my elliptical. The screen quality is great and very receptive to touch. I also get all of the ifit features that I get on the elliptical with this machine as well. I'm pretty impressed with how well it's held up! Now, there are also some areas where the budget price shows on this treadmill as well. For example , When I'm running at incline, there tends to be a clicking/squeaking noise. I'm not a heavy person so I think this may just be a quality issue. There has also been one time when the incline just stopped working altogether however this was fixed by restarting the machine. Then there's the fact that it does not have a cooling fan. Didn't think this would be an issue until I realized how hot I could get from running in a closed off room with only a ceiling fan. Finally, putting it together was a bit hard and when we finished, we still couldn't get the plastic covering on the handles to fit correctly. Some of the parts just seemed like they were poorly made or misaligned. This came with a complementary 1 year subscription to ifit. Honestly, it was also the main reason I bought it. I can't say enough good things about ifit! They have so many programs on location and their trainers are absolutely motivating! Not to mention that you can get milestone rewards, magnets, and medals all for FREE from participating in their challenges and races which had really made the difference for me to keep going every day. Seriously, you won't regret getting into the ifit community! Overall, it's a great product and holds up well under daily runs.
I love it. It is exactly what I was looking for. I searched so much for a treadmill, many sites are out. I was lucky to come across this one, and a Nordic for such a steal. It was delivered very quickly considering the mail delays due to covid. I chose to have a pro come and install it, it was a quick and easy experience. I love the touch screen!! the treadmill its not loud at all. And the free 1 year ifit! Ifit makes my workouts more enjoyable. I just got done hiking with trainer in Brazil! Lol honestly love it, and I look forward to my next workout. Highly recommend!!
Relative easy to put together using home tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrench). Needed the help of a second person to hold materials during some parts of assembly. No YouTube video available for this specific model and instruction book for the console did not exactly resemble the unit we received. Took 4+ hours to complete the task. Treadmill shipped in one large box with walking base pre-assembled... but is very heavy, though pretty easy to move via its wheels over our tile floor once assembled. Speed of treadmill about 1 mph faster indicated console setting; incline works well. Walking base is shorter (5 inches) than full-size treadmill, but that is no issue. Not noisy. For us (67 years old) it is a great machine and thus far (30 days...) is working out great in our slow but steady physical fitness regime.
I had my doubts after reading some of the views but it has been doing well so far. It took roughly about 3 hours for one person to fully assemble. One minor issue I found so far is when my kids, age 9 and 13, and they aren't heavy at all, are running on it, you can hear it when their feet land. I am 300 lbs., give or take a few, and it feels very sturdy, even during the minute amount of running I did.
This is a great, inexpensive treadmill. For once I actually feel like I got a little more for what I paid for... Build quality is solid for the most part. I'm amazed it made it in one piece considering the condition of the box. It was somewhat well packaged and it is heavy... Oddly, not much information can be found about this particular model (C 700 with the 7" screen). I cant imagine why unless this was a Walmart only model. Honestly the only negatives for me so far is the latch that holds the deck up seems like a deathtrap, I wouldn't rely on it. Also, Walmart's description is incorrect, this model does not have the Easy-lift assist. The screen is nice however the app is not fluid. Seems sluggish, not optimized and this seems to be the trend with several review regarding the iFit app. Its also beyond comprehension why they didn't just include Bluetooth. This thing could be a hit if they would have to a little more effort into it. Not sure if I'll renew the iFit subscription after the year is up, its really up to them if they can retain me as a customer and so far, I'm on the fence.
I bought this on sale for $450. The iFit year and 7" built in screen was appealing to me. First $149 for Pilot Air Freight to not know where my package was in transit and to deliver it with no warning looking like the picture below is just unacceptable. Fortunately NordicTrack packs it extremely well with solid wood pieces framing it and foam everywhere. There was no damage. It took me about 2 hours to assemble alone. The Bilt app on my phone with detailed 3D models and step by step instructions was probably the best building instructions I've ever seen. Treadmill went together fairly easy but the instructions are a joke saying you just need a phillips and an adjustable wrench. Have a ratchet/socket and a powered screwdriver or it will take much longer, the screws/bolts are long. Once built it powered up fine and I had no problem redeeming the 1 year iFit. I did not see a way to cancel the renewal payment in a year it probably requires a phone call. I was able to do multiple walks on Google Maps which is a cool feature walking down the street with Google street view. Auto incline works well and I had no problem with the treadmill walking around 3 MPH and I'm 227 lbs. The speakers sound good for music. I haven't tried it yet you can apparently put this into admin mode which turns it into an Android tablet instead of locking you into the iFit app and lets you install Netflix, etc which is a big plus.
Don’t be fooled by NordicTrack name or the fact they call this the C700. It’s a down spec’d model. Does not have the general features listed on NordicTrack website for C700 and doesn’t have features shown on product page on Walmart.com. Shown to have an auxiliary audio port, it does not have one. It is shown to have silver/metal heart rate sensors built into handles in product pictures, and says built in heart rate monitor on product page. It does not have these. I didn’t realize this until I had spent hours putting it together. Can’t wait to return it on principle since what you see and get are so different.
Do not buy this product I beg you in the name of God. The manufacturer will force you to signup for something very stupid, and when you sign in to your account you’ll continue to get signed out so basically you can’t use your equipment without signing in. Lastly they hack into the system by blocking you from using any app you want to use. They are trying to make you sign up for their training videos in a nutshell.. customer support sucks real bad too. I wish I could give them a zero star TBH
