I bought this in a shop in Europe, in a hurry. Looked about right, price was good. Turns out that this is the best backpack I've ever purchased. It has all the perfect compartments I need, all placed conveniently, water bottle holder, laptop slot, smaller pockets and sleeves inside, including a meshed one with a zipper; it's fairly attractive (but discreet); comfy. Even comes with a little "climbers" clip inside. I can't speak to durability yet -- zippers are always what goes on these things, but so far so good. Supposedly it's green too. It's actually not so easy to find a suitable backpack -- I last bought a very expensive one that hurt my back; returned that one. Great job Targus.
I was looking for a large bag for school starting September, and I saw a nice avearge sized backpack. I wasn't expecting it to be large in space but when i opened all the compartments, I was dumbfouned. The bag had a huge space and organizer for school things. I instantly told my mom to buy it for me. I fell in love with the bag. It even came with a targus mouse! Now I will be more comfortable for school and other future evnts!!!!!
I got this backpack about 2 years ago, it's held up really well considering how it's been treated at school! It's comfy and holds most of my stuff, plus it's sorta waterproof! I can go out in the rain without worrying if my laptop will get wet. Overall I just love it! But 2 of the zippers popped out of place, that's my only complaint, and even then, I think it was my fault for putting too many books in it at once, haha. :)
I received this bag from my employer several years ago and have used it for everything since: commutes, shopping on a bike, few-day trips, formal work meetings, etc. I personally have not used the flip-back pocket when going through TSA but the bag is otherwise everything I'm looking for. It is a good mix of style and functionality with a nice clean look and plenty of space inside without being too bulky, and is durable to boot.
I bought this packpack as a replacement to an identical one I purchased almost 15 years ago! With only one minor change, it's essentially the same awesome backpack and I was elated to see it hadn't been discontinued.
I really love this bag.. I bought this before 2 months.. Its very handy, Very attractive, and the most important is very comfortable. The bag never hurts me eve if I filled it with my laptop and other stuffs.. I recommend this bag to everyone... Cheers..
Overall, the bag is well built and has adequate space for carrying books and notebooks. However, the biggest issue I have with the bag is with the laptop section. There is nothing that holds the laptop in place and keep it from moving around. The Velcro strap at the top does nothing to secure the laptop. Most other bags have a pouch/sleeve within the laptop section that provides additional protection and keeps it secure. Additionally, the trolley pass-through gap in the bag's handle does not appear to be large enough to have a handle actually pass through. I thought the bag would have had some straps on the back, similar to the ones found on other Targus bags.
The Laptop Backpack bag is okay nothing special. The laptop protection section gives me little confidence that my item will not become damage. I have a Dell e7470.. I can squeeze two of these units in the laptop sleeve. A small strap is used to keep the laptop from moving around. The bottom padding is minimal. I feel the bag should have a better laptop sleeve. The bag other compartments for storage are limited. Two large books will fit.and a couple of spiral notebooks. The bag feels heavy when full. Okay for day travel. I would considered purchasing something else when travelling abroad.
This backpack seems nice, but it doesn't look like it will hold a lot. One whole pocket is pretty much only for the laptop because it opens all the way around (almost). But I was actually worried about the laptop (or anything) falling out of this pocket upon unzipping it. I ended up returning this for a backpack that did not have the pocket that unzips all the way around and offered more storage.
The item was used. Not Brand new.
