Just purchased within the last week and placed it dead smack in the center of my living room/kitchen/multi-purpose room. My son that has a bit of a dust mite issue noted after a few hours that it felt better breathing in the home. He has another brand purifier that he sleeps with in his room, but since we added this, I think the majority of the home is covered. He normally does a nasal rinse 2 or 3 times a day. Since we got this, I think he did it once.
I don't know how I lived without it....I LOVE IT....clean... fresh... cool air...I'm going back tomorrow to get one for the bedroom
If you don't have a purifier or just have a crummy one look no further
I must admit i was sceptical that this machine could do what it claimed! I am a retired diesel mechanic so the first things i look for are build quality and practicality. the build quality stood out as i unpacked it from the box and the filters are impressive! Have had the machine for 3 weeks and so far have used it in my study(day) and our Bedroom(night) The phone app took a while to pair with machine(15 attempts) but once linked it is an impressive app. Bedroom:- Used for 6 nights on night mode function, extremely quiet on top night setting (4) as our nights have not gone below 22deg we used the aircon for an hour first and then left the purifier on all night, it left the cool air circulating and my wife who is asthmatic has not coughed and has slept better, big plus for us. Study(day) Left on auto function it keeps the study cool far better than the overhead fan and the air definitely feels fresher. Overall i am very impressed with this Dyson pure hot cool machine, it is smart looking and unobtrusive, well built and appears to do what it claims well. I will review again when the weather is cool enough to test the heater function. Would i recommend this machine? Yes i would, especially to inner city dwellers where pollution is higher, this is a very good purifier with easy to read pollution data especially from the app.
Lot of money for a Hepa filter, low wattage electrical heater and a cooling fan that CANNOT lower the temperature on the room
Bought many Dyson products all great EXCEPT this dog It claims to expel cool air The air is not even close to cool it's a glorified fan! And why does it have a temperature control that goes from 1 to 99 if when you say choose 50 degrees it doesn't go to 50 I want cold air not warm They should warn the consumer that this is not like an air conditioner Boy did I get ripped Never buy another crappy Dyson product again It's a gift no receipt so dyson won't take it back bad business crappy product!
