[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Frames were a perfect solution for a problem I thought would never be solved,, that is listening to music while commuting to and from work on my scooter. I can't wear earbud headphones when riding my scooter in the city because I need to be able to hear my surroundings in order to have a safe ride. But with the Frames I can safely listen to music and still hear my surroundings during my commute. I need to wear sunglasses anyway, so now I can wear these AND listen to music, without having dangling wires or extra devices. And sound quality is great.

I charge them when they get to about 30%. I would like to have reader lens and that would make them perfect. I like the choice of changeable lens.

My husband bought them for me and I was skeptical at first, until I put them on and hooked up my iPhone (very easy with bose connect). These are fantastic! I also wish I had reader lenses in 1.5 and that the charging cable was sold separately so I have an extra charger at work. Although that said, the battery is pretty hearty and lasts quite a while. I forget that I have a headphone on, unless I get a call in and am notified. At the end of the day, without playing music, they are still at 100%...

When driving on long trips with passengers I like to listen to my own music and audio books without disturbing other. These can be safely worn while driving as they are NOT noise canceling or isolating. Actually a very good feature as I can hear others and the environment as necessary. Great for hiking as well. Would be safer for cycling than ear pods or buds. The sound is encompassing and very clear. They hook up to my iPhone XS without difficulty. They have an easy to use control scheme, look great, sound wonderful, a sturdy case and have interchangeable lens. I just hope we get some clear reading lens from Bose (+2.0 for me), additionally the charging cable is unique and not a standard usb mini type so I'll need to get another for my travel kit, otherwise they are perfect. I personally think the retro look is great. A strong buy recommendation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a week ago and have used it extensively while driving in another state while on business. It is great to not have to reach for the phone for directions, changes in music, a news update, etc. All while wearing a good pair of sunglasses. Looking forward to future integrations with (hopefully) Uber/Lyft, Pandora and other commonly used apps.
The glasses produce amazing sound When your playing music. I can not say how great they are for that. They are good looking glasses but kind of big design-wise. And they're super smooth which is cool but they might slide off your head. I recommend using something to hokd them in place like the ear hooks i use. Making voice calls is another story. They start off good but not great. And that's in a quiet environment. In a noisy environment, the caller cam be hard to hear and they have difficulty hearing you. Over time, the quality also seems to degrade. About two weeks before the year, they supposed turning on. A friend who uses them about 3-4x as much for phone calls (he actually bought three of them for that purpose) had die about 6 months in. But Bose really took care of him and me and replaced them. I recommend them highly with the caveat that of you need them for calls, it may or may not sounds great depending on many things. But for music and podcasts they are simply amazing.

In sunlight you can see the inside wires etc. Should come with lenses that don't make them look like movie theatre glasses. Arms should be adjustable for ears. The sound is good and after replacing lenses they look more like sunglasses.
