I have owned Casio watches in the past and found them to be very durable, accurate, easy to read and good looking. Not many watches out there with this quality and lasting power. I would recommend as a great everyday watch.
This watch is accurate, rugged and great to look at. As a SCUBA instructor this is my second one... the first lasted 12 years and made it through thousands of dives. Deep to well over 140 feet, banged up on wreck, cave and ice dives, it never leaked and the face showed barely a scratch. Have the battery replaced and o-ring seal lubed/replaced by a reputable jeweler and you'll be glad you bought one. The wide, heavy duty strap is a little tricky to find, but that's a minor detail.
Very durable watch the Walmart stores should reconsider stocking this item in their stores as it used to be. The watch lasts about 3 years before it needs a battery. The watch is only available online from Walmart.com
Got this watch in the summer of '98. It's outlasted at least 3 bands and 5 or so batteries. Hardly ever take it off. Only one dimple in the timer band from when a wrench slipped. No scratches on the crystal! This is one tough watch. The price is now lower than when I bought it. Really don't think you can beat it.
I have had this watch going on 10+ years. It does everything you need, plus is a nice looking watch to boot. The only difficulty I have had is finding replacement bands and then actually replacing the battery as the back of the watch does not pop off like most watches. The bands usually last for about 2 years with every day use. (I never take mine off)
This is my third or fourth Casio over a 20 year period. Cracked the crystal on the last one and decided to buy new. I am very active and in the water a lot and this watch holds up for me. Have always had Seiko previously and they would break down quicker than the Casio and were much more expensive.
I don't think I've ever owned a Casio watch before, but it does have the features that I like and it was the only watch at the price I was willing to spend.
This is the 2nd one i have purchased in 16 years. The only reason I had to replace it was because I tried to replace the battery myself instead of sending it back to Casio. (They replace the batteries for free but you have to ship it to them.) When I replaced the battery I was not able to vacuum seal the backing and water leaked in, which was my fault. Other than that, it does everything I need it to and have been down to 150' and it held up. :)
I have owned 2 of these bad boys. it is a great dive watch used one of mine in Desert storm. the sad thing they don't make them anymore. I found this out when I sent my second one in for repair.
This new one is my second one, it looks very expensive. I have had my other for over 3 years and it still looks great.
