Easy to set up adjustable to any size Nice to my needs To put in any room. With great sound.
No holes in the Wall. Need I say more . I bought these for my Vizio 5.1 surround system. Wireless subwoofer with satellite speakers Looks great , adjustable for the best sound position. Best of all if I rearrange the room the speakers are not a problem.
These are very sturdy, and hold the speakers securely. I like the fact that they give you all the necessary hardware for different options on securing the speakers to the stands. I wasn't sure if the speaker wire that I used, flat instead of round, was going to fit through the tube, but it was fine. I do wish that they would sell single stands, as I need one more, as I have 3 rear channel speakers in my surround sound system.
I always wanted something like this for my surrond sound. My speakes werealways sitting on my end tables. The only thing that I seen that is different, they are a different color then what they show in the picture. Mine came in a grayish powder coating instead.
6/16/14 I had my Atlantic Speaker Stands shipped to a local Walmart store and saved on shipping... When I got them I was really impressed...Not only was the quality excellent, they were very easy to put together....The tripod type base is heavy and made of quality materials... They adjust,(telescope up and down) with just a quick turn of the lock..Very much like a microphone stand....There's even a slip prof grip on the bottom of the bases so they only move when you need them to....accommodates most any size speaker..They even give you long and short support brackets depending on the application...I saved almost $20.00 buying this brand.. Atlantic Adjustable Satellite Speaker Stands fit the bill if you have small rear speakers. They are easy to assemble and the speaker wires with the connection plug fits easily through the stand to the bracket holding the speaker. This stand comes with three different options to secure your speakers to the stand and its built well and stands steady. If you have the Vizo S4251w-5.1 Soundbar with Satellite speakers you can't go wrong with this gem.
Bought these stands for my new Vizio 5.1 sound bar sattelite speakers despite reading a lot of reviews that said they were no good for them. Installation was a bit tricky: had to use string to thread the thick RCA speaker cables through the main pipe of the stand; spent a fair few frustrating minutes figuring out the overly complicated bracket that sits on top of the pipe which involved fitting the cable head into the U-shaped supporting bracket before fitting both into the bracket on top of the pipe, then hoping that the speaker sat in everything correctly while lining up with the pre-seated cable. All in all, once I got it, looks pretty good and the speakers feel pretty secure... as long as you don't pick up one of these by the speaker itself. On a side note: the stands are very sturdy and made of very sturdy-feeling metal. They look pretty nice, I guess, and blend in well with my existing decor. Hardly notice them at all. They seem fairly well constructed all-in-all, though one pipe slides up a lot easier than the other, and one is a little wider on the inside than the other (didn't have to use string to thread the cable). TL;DR: These are good for Visio 5.1 soundbar.
Stands were not a perfect fit for my speakers but I am satisfied. I could not run the wiring up through the stands. That was not the fault of the stands. It was because of the way the ends are on my wiring. Because of the way the wiring hooks to my speakers I could not use the wire hook mounts but I could use the 2 sided tape to mount the speakers. Again not the stands design fault, but the way my speakers hook up to the wiring. My system is the Vizio 54251W-B4. Overall I am pleased with the stands
This is a well built set of speaker stands, but there are a couple of issues. 1. The "holder" in the back of the stand interferes with the wire (RCA receptacle) when it is centered in the back of the speaker. 2. The clearance on the weighted foot does not allow these to be placed behind a sofa that is flush with the wall, I had to position my sofa about 4 " from the wall, instead of against it.
Just what I needed!!! The only drawback was getting the speaker cables to fit through the support arms..the original RCA cables would probably fit better, but I have the thicker cables that came with the Vizio 5.1 system and they are a lot larger in diameter...
