Been buying the Value/Bigger Pack of Dial Soap for a long time. I do occasionally find a better deal, so I always keep an eye”Eye” on the price. Frugal not Cheap. Pennies, Nickels , Dimes, or Quarters… They all can Add Up to Dollar Bills… That Is Saving Yourself Money in The Long Run…
This soap isn't for everyone and in my opinion nothing is. However, this dial antibacterial soap is great for me. I am a repeat buyer because this is the soap that I need for post surgery cleaning. Just don't get bit in your eyes.
I like to use this soap on more sensitive areas and on my face. It helps to clear up my acne. I feel more clean after showering with this soap. 8 bars for this is very good.
You can't go wrong with this product. It cleans better than any other bar soap out there, and is antibacterial. Your skin feels so clean after showering with I like the fact it never dries me out at all.
They have changed the formulation and perfume. I had an older fresh bar of soap that did not smell like laundry detergent, this soap does.
I recently bought the multi-pack of Dial Soap, and noticed that it's now even THINNER in the middle than it has ever been. NOW it only lasts a week (using it only on myself) before it gets so thin in the middle of the bar that it breaks in half. I LOVE the smell of the soap and how I feel when I get out of the shower, but unfortunately have to discontinue buying Dial Soap since it breaks in half so easily. I tolerated the first time when the Henkel Corporation made Dial Soap thinner in the middle (easier to hold?). After a week of daily uses it snaps in half and I have 2 big globs of soap that are useless unless I squeeze them together to make a mini-thick bar of soap. I would rather pay MORE for Dial Soap and keep it thicker, full sized like it used to be (YES I remember). I will find an alternate anti-bacterial soap until Dial smartens up and makes it full size again. Too bad, since I grew up on Dial Soap...and I love the clean smell!
I've used Dial bar soap my entire adult life (I am 65). I am very disappointed in that it's formula has changed greatly. It seems like a lot of cheap glycerin has been added to this soap. If I wanted glycerin soap, I would have purchased it. As the bar gets smaller (and it gets small VERY fast) it becomes transparent. . . you can see right through it. It doesn't lather like it used to and doesn't smell good like it used to. It's been cheapened, all for the company's bottom line. How did you think we wouldn't notice?
The case of Diet Coke and Fresca were placed on top of all the other groceries in my trunk. One loaf of bread is partially smashed and 3 of my eggs are cracked.
the new gold advance clean in not as good as the old bars, even the hospitals that told in the past is not telling you anymore to use dial gold bars before surgery.
I have been using dial gold my whole life, NOT ANYMORE. Not sure what you guys are doing here, but the quality has gone WAY DOWN. Wonky packaging, does not sud up, takes forever to get a lather and the soap fades so fast, is more of a glycerin type soap, you can see through it..ALSO, the past 2 batches I have purchased the bars have black stripes going through the middle of the bars???? What the heck is that!??? And you don't realize it until after you have already used it. I thought it was just a one off thing but it's in ALL THE BARS. Not very attractive or comforting when you're supposed to be cleansing your body. I will be scouting out for another brand of soap for my family, don't feel safe using, especially on my kids.
