I love it! Incredibly good sound for the price. Always works and is easy to use. Also has a useful set of audio effects. I link it to my computer, both for my online therapy business and to listen to audiobooks and streaming hi-res audio. I've been buying Yamaha receivers for over 40 years and I like this one better.
Purchased to replace an older Sony AV receiver. sound quality and connectivity is far more advanced, interaction with Sony TV, Sony Blu-ray and Direct TV receiver is outstanding. Responds to all Sony remotes and even the DirectvTV remote. Should have done this upgrade ling ago.
Sony delivers an amazing receiver at this price point. Just got the PS5 and needed a 4k receiver, this thing works perfectly. Plenty of features and super simple set up. I'm more than pleased with my purchase.

Bought this to go with my new Sony 4K smart TV. Set up was pretty easy as the Sony TV and DVD recognized everything including what HDMI port you should be on. Sound quality if pretty good, although I would like more customization. I have cranked it up yet for music of during a 4K DVD but hope it will sound great.

If you're looking for an amp to replace and an older model stereo amp, this may be your best bet. I didn't want Bluetooth or anything digital; and I didn't need the 4K video hookup. All I wanted was a stereo amp with extra options for a center speaker, surround speakers, and a subwoofer (aka a 5.2 amp). And this amp delivers! Easy setup; very intuitive; didn't even need the manual! The amp does include the digital options should you want to go that way later. Walmart's price and delivery was right on time as well.
love it because of optical input the best audio connection no latency all bluetooth has 3 second delay I can't have a second delay on my setup
The overall sound is superb!... personally,i would have liked independent tonal controls,but with strategic placement of the 5.1 speakers,and the aid of the included microphone,a favorable Condition is easy to obtain...Great value for this price point!
