I just reordered this humidifier. I owned one for many years at least over a decade. I had used it all winter long. It is very quiet but noticed this year it had increased noise but still not a problem. My old one still works but the black rubber is beginning to decay. I highly recommend this because of quiet and longevity.
I purchased this unit as replacement for a 30-year old cool mist room humidifier that failed to run. Even though we have a whole-house humidifier, we occasionally need more moisture and the operation is quiet, the water lasts a full day, and the size is much less obtrusive than the one we replaced. I recommend it for others!
I love this humidifier. I can easily set the switch to reduce or increase how much steam comes out. It works perfectly.
I absolutely LOVE this machine!! It helped me breathe waaay easier the first use. Totally worth the buy and larger than expected!
I like this humidifier I have used it for years . My dislike is it seems I have to replace it every year and I have 2 of them. I live in a big town but it seems like none of the stores carry the replacement filters.
I find it difficult to fill the tank. The top of the tank is curved and does not sit steady on a flat surface. While filling, it rocks, splashes and makes a wet mess if your not careful.
It does a good job of putting humidity in the air and has the capacity to last 10-12 hours. It is easy to fill with water and easy to use. My issue is that it claims to be quiet; it is not quiet
I bought this because I've had good results with the smaller Vicks sonic humidifiers. Like the smaller ones, its quiet. Unlike the smaller ones, the control seems to have very little effect on how much mist it puts out. Maybe mine is busted? I wanted a unit I would only have to fill once each 24 hrs. No such luck; it is empty within 12 hrs regardless of how low I turn the dial. Going back to my little ones.
It works well if you don't mind flipping whenever you have to fill it with water and have some spills around. I don't like the fact that Is hard to clean, you can't take off all the parts and you need a lengthy brush. You also have to buy filter if you don't add already filtered water it's recommended to buy some treatment for the water so it doesn't accumulate fungus and bacteria. It does it's job but it's hard to maintain!
