Screen printing was going to cost $5 per shirt so I ordered these and was able to do our design on all the shirts for .50 cents each!! They ironed on great and was super easy!!
Make birthday shirts for guest at my daughters first birthday. The transfer paper was very easy to use, and didn't take long to adhere to the shirts. I would just watch out for putting the whole pack of paper in the printer at once, because one of the transfers moved slightly and printed on a second one. So half of the shirt writing was on one, and half the other. But I guess that may depend on the type of printer you have as well. Overall it's a good buy.
My "t-shirt project" could not have been any simpler!!! I am so glad I picked Avery, because, when you are running out of time (Christmas gifts), you don't want to take a chance on any "off-brand" merchandise.....at least I don't. I used these same transfers about 3 years ago, and they are still just as easy to use as they were the first time I used them.
We started a small business and this was the only transfer brand available. After purchasing we noticed the horrible reviews, but to our surprise the transfer works like a charm! Our fabric is 100% cotton - natural canvas. To print the artwork mirrored, we use the actual artwork in AI - Illustrator to make it mirrored so we didn't have to figure out printer settings.
i read the reviews after buying and saw a lot of negatives which made me very skeptical, but i had already printed the images so i did it anyways. followed the video for light transfers on photopaperdirect and it worked well! dont be too quick with trying to pull it off and stretch the fabric to get the backside off the print.
Did one white shirt for a friend and the photo transferred well, did lift some and I re-did it. Just did one for me, a B&W photo (mine) and it came out sepia.why the difference in color?
I bought this product for the second time. The first time I did not have a problem. But the second time it was a nightmare.I followed instructions, and everything printed but when i ironed them on the back would not come off and IF it did come off part of the print came off. So unhappy. I really hope they stop selling defective products like these especially since they are not cheap.
I bought this to print on and then cut using my Cricut Maker. I printed and then cut the design. I was not able to remove the design and iron on to the shirt. The entire paper with backing stayed on my shirt. Instructions were not very clear as to how to cut the design out, but I feel the Cricut did it correctly. I did not want to have the film left on the shirt, just the design.
I bought this product to make Birthday shirts, needless to say the birthday is Friday and I'm out of $75 between the Avery transfer paper and the shirts, could not get the backing off and when I finally did it tore my design to pieces, I'll never purchase this again nor will I recommend it to anyone else!
My friend bought this for our family vacation t shirts. She made over 15 shirts and all of them ruined in one day of wearing. When I helped her make them the backing would not pull off the correct way leaving the print on the backing. The ink literally smears on EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE. Everybody was walking around marked up on their face and arms from the ink. This is a horrible product.
