the thermometer more than met my expectations. It was well made, looked way more expensive and I am anxious to give it as a gift!
I was really disappointed when I got the box open and solar panel and the thermometer had wires not connected. This must be a common problem because the instructions address this and suggest giving the sun time to activate. Also the picture led me to believe the numbers were very large and that I could see the degrees from a distance. You have to be close to see them. The snow gauge is what is large.
