All things considered, I am extremely happy with this simple flip phone. I can make calls easier than my old android and I can answer the phone safely and easily. The texting is the "old fashioned" way - but hey! it works and keeps my texting short and sweet. Very good signal so far and so much clearer than my boost mobile android. Now I can go back to using my phone as phone and people can hear me better. Also the phone never gets "hot" on my ear like the android did. Overall - for a simple, EZ to read numbers and great signal - I am very happy. And I am saving more using my solavei sim card also.
This is an excellent little phone. All it does is make calls, send/receive texts and take pictures. While it does have the option of getting online I wouldn't recommend you attempt to use that feature - the screen is to small and the processing to slow. In fact we had a samsung phone very similar to this on another unlimited plan, and Walmart was much cheaper as we could do without the online option, hence the switch. The flip-phone feature means you can leave it in your pocket or purse without making unwanted calls or taking 'pocket pictures,' and the simplicity means it's intuitive to use. If I have a complaint it's the fact that for some reason when writing a text its default setting is T9 instead of just text - you have to select that every time. But for the amazing price to purchase and operate this little gem it's a small price to pay.
Great product. We buy prepaid minutes through TMobile. We would love to see this product with a larger screen for the same price, and is the only reason we did not purchase the next largest LG model was the $90+ purchase price. I do not like the screen touch models. Too unsanitary.
The product is fine but it took some effort to learn how to use it. There were no instructions of any kind included with the unit.
I have difficulty finding a regular basic phone nowadays. This is one of the few models left available that is just a basic phone. My son and I both use this model. It has proven to be very reliable and sturdy. Button size is good for those of us with large hands.
Bought this phone for my husband who does not want a smart phone. Keypad large enough for him to use easily. Menu is intuitive. Calls are clear. He is very happy!
This phone works well as a phone. It does look and feel cheap - the plastic feels thin but it seems to be okay when I've dropped it. It only has trial games for free. It doesn't have a lot of options on free ring tones.
Family Mobile tried to activate for 4 days and finally told me "It doesn t work in your area" I checked my Zip on Walmart before I bought it & it said It did work...Then I had to buy Starter Kit........Go figure........I dropped my service with Verizon when I had this phone for 2 days as they said me being still on Verizon affected the phone................Yep I sent it back to Walmart.
Needed an uncomplicated phone for a friend who does not text or surf the web but likes to send photos. Found this phone that does everything he needs without all the extras. And, it looks nice!
Its not prepaid, its just a bricked phone with no sim card. I cant even use the alarm clock without a sim. Avoid this phone.
