awesome product!! This is my second time purchasing this brand of booster. My son had a different pattern. We were recently in a pretty bad accident. This booster stood up remarkably well. My son was the only one who did not have any back or seat belt injuries. I would highly recommend this booster. My daughter loves this booster. It is so cute!!
I knew we were either going to get this booster seat or the Britax parkway and I am very satisfied with our decision. My daughter loves that it is pink with flowers, but more importantly, I love it because it is very cushioned, the back doesn't fall off it when I carry it like my sons Graco does and it is foldable (but we never really need to fold it). The main reason we went with this one is that my daughter is on the stocky side and I thought the Britax Parkway was too narrow for her to fit into in a year or so and the "wrap around" head rest really blocks her side vision when she looks out the window so she is leaning forward a lot. As for sleeping in it, we just returned from a long car trip and she slept just fine in it both ways. Her head never slumped forward. We really like it.
This car seat is perfect. I have 3 year old twin girls that love the pattern and the seat. I am holding back on puting them in the seat now though because after reading several articles I feel the longer you wait the better. A five piont harness is much safer for small children than a seat belt even though they meet the height and weight requirements for a highback booster. With that said I have an 8 year old that has been in a Graco Turbobooster for several years now. She fits in both seats at 54 in" tall but loves the Compass. Before I purchased the Compass I asked her if her Graco was comfortable on long trips. She said yes but when the Compass arrived I had her try it and she said hands down it was more comfortable than the Graco. I bought the Compass because we are going to do some flying and was very interested in the folding capability of the seat. I bought it through Walmart because it was cheaper and I could easily return it if the seat was not what I expected. Bottom line on the booster is to me it comes down to the price. If you have the money and can afford it, this seat is well worth it. In my opinion the graco Turbobooster is also great but at a lower cost. I feel my kids would have never complained about the Graco if I put them in one but since I purchased the Compass....I do love this seat....I am sticking with the Compass for my twins for the ease of transport when flying and driving long distance in comfort.
I bought this car seat for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. I saw this one in another store and I found out that this is cheaper at Wallmart. I really like the design so I searched for this product everywhere and I noticed that it has a good review. When I got it, my daughter tried it and she just love it. I am so pleased with the features and it looks better than I've expected.
This booster seat is everything we had hoped. The seat is comfortable for my four year old and the adjustable height makes it fit her perfectly. The arm rests are great since you can move them up when she is getting out of the seat. This seat is sturdy and well made. We compared the cushioning in other popular seats and the Compass by far was much softer and thicker. The colors on this one are vibrant and that makes her love it even more. Great seat!!
I bought this for my 5yr old daughter. She loves the color and the cupholders. I did think she would be able to buckle herself but putting the seatbelt through the guide is a bit tough. This was the only boosterseat on the market with 3 layers energy absorbing foam and a headrest. Compass is very focused on child safety. Being in the military we travel long distances frequently and it was important to have head support for naps in the car. Now there are no more bobbing heads. The kids are comfortable the whole way. I would highly reccomend this product. I did have to tilt my seat back a little bit to get a proper fit but that was not a big deal.
My only complaints are minor. My daughter was used to having cupholders of two different sizes, one for a cup and another for snack or juice box. This car seat does not have that option. The other is that I wish it had "grippy" on the bottom of the seat feet so when my daughter gets in and out it doesn't slide on the seat and she doesn't feel like she's going to fall. Great quality for the price. It makes my daughter feel like a big girl to finally be able to buckle herself in her car seat (There wasn't enough space between her seat and my son's as her other car seat - Vantage Point - was too wide to allow her to do that.).
I Bought This Booster For My 3year Old. She Loved it!! The brwn is a bit Lighter But Since my daughter loved it I kept it. I reasreached before buying and found compas to be the best choice. I just picked pink for my daughter. The two things I like are when she sleeps her head is not flopping. The other thing is the belt loop makes it more succure.
This seat is very easy to set up. It comes folded and you just pull it apart and put it in your vehicle....My daughter is 2 1/2 yrs old and just loves it....She says she likes the flowers on it and the color of it.....Also it seems to be very comfortable for her also....Although we have not used on a long trip yet....That will tell if it stands up to its claims...But everything so far is great....Would recommend to anyone......Loved it so much I bought one for my husbands car and my mothers.....
My daughter truly loves this seat; mainly because of the color, but also because of the comfort. She buckles herself in and it makes her feel so big. The seat fits her well; she is almost 5, a petite 5. Setting this seat up is so simple. All you have to do is unfold it and put it in the car. The seat cover is removable for washing also. Love that! I noticed some people had mentioned slippage of the seat, but we have a mat for protecting the seat underneath, and have had no problems with movement. This seat also comes with the carry bag for easy travel.
