My son loves that he has his own little potty that looks just like the big potty. It has made potty training easy. It fits him perfectly and he loves to flush when he is done. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought this about a month ago and my boy has used it a handful of times now that he's not as fascinated by the flushing noise. He still likes to flush it but now he knows how to use it as well. Easy to assemble and clean and like that the top can be used on a normal toilet as well.
This review is based upon my experience with Walmart more than the product itself. My toddler hasn't had enough time for me to know if this type of potty is going to be a win for potty training. But as far as the product, we received everything as it is advertised in its entirety , unbroken and assembly was easy. I was very very happy with Walmart!! And am glad I ordered it through them. Shipping and handling was free and I was amazed at how fast the delivery was. I ordered it yesterday(Saturday)around noon and it was delivered today(Sunday)at noon. I wasn't even expecting it until tomorrow (Monday). It barely took 24hrs to arrive. The Summer website was charging $11.00 for ground shipping and over $20.00for 2-day. That was ridiculous!! I'm so glad I searched for the same product through my Walmart app first.
Our 2.5 year old boy loved this. I got it because of the great splash guard reviews. We’ve used it for 2 weeks and it’s worked perfectly. He loves getting to flush the toilet - it is basically the only reward we had to offer to get him to potty. Worth the extra money to upgrade.
We've never had another potty, so I have nothing to compare it to directly, but so far it works well for us. I appreciate that the splash guard is now a permanent fixture, and the flush sound is a great incentive to get my son to sit on the potty. The storage compartments are too small for a full package of wipes, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Best training toilet. She recognized what it was right away, since it looks just like the real thing. She loves that it's hers, but just like ours. She enjoys the flush and is very comfortable sitting on the seat. The topper fits our toilet well.
The just-right size, spot-on design, and 'flushing sound' make this little potty absolutely perfect. Bought it for my granddaughter to use when she is at our house and it is an absolute winner!
My grandson loved his new potty. He loves to flush the toilet with a handle that sounds just like a real toilet flushing. So now he wants to potty all the time! Lol
We are very pleased with this mini toilet! Potty training made easier and the flushing sound is a cute extra.
The main reason I purchased the Summer potty seat was because of the splash guard, and it is very disappointing that it is not 'cupped'. Every time my son goes potty, he either splashes pee right back on to himself or it runs down the side of the splash guard and toilet if he doesn't hold his peewee down. That being said, the other features are great! The other reason I purchased it was for the flushing sounds. My son used to love to flush his toilet even when he wasn't using it, but now he prefers to empty it out into the 'real' toilet and flush that one. He sometimes will use the big potty so having the removable seat is a plus, though the downsides of the splash guard are the same. I also love having a place to put wipes, however, my son will empty out a pack of wipes faster than you'd think so we stopped leaving them there. I started putting small books in there so he can read and go potty at the same time. Overall, we love his training potty, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent priced potty with fantastic features. *To Summer Infantino: please cup your splash guard!
