I just started using this monitor and I am loving it! The picture is clear, I can turn on music in the babies room and even speak through the microphone! Monitor is large but not bulky and I love that you can stand it on attached pull out stand. I purchased an alternate monitor and the screen was damaged and stopped working within 2 months, this is so much better!! I also love the temperature feature since the baby's room tends to be colder and hotter than the rest of the house!! Well worth it!!
I love that i can communicate through the camera with my child. Another great feature is being able to move the camera from the monitor.
Great monitor for the price. The screen size is perfect and very clear. I've had this monitor in different versions over the last 7 years and always pleased with them!
It took us about 24 hours to figure out that it wasn't turning on because the music button and the power button were swapped! In order to turn it on we have to hold down the music button for 3 seconds and if we want to play music through the camera we have to click the power button. Very odd and confusing but I think it's just an unlucky design flaw in our specific monitor. Other than that the camera works great! We really like it!
Picture isn't the best. Loses signal a lot. The zoom is way to blurry. I expected more from this brand.
the picture quality is very poor. the battery love of the monitor only lasts for an hr or so. i have to keep it plugged in at all times so that i don't have to worry about it dieing on me at night. the monitor size is great but again picture quality is not satisfying for night time. sound is good
Works great as long as the monitor is plugged in. The rechargeable battery does not charged. Called the company, and they advised that they stopped making these in 2022 and do not have parts and no support help. The manufacturer suggested ordering a new battery from Amazon or returning to the store.. what a hassell.
I bought this monitor and excitedly turned it on. I loved the music feature. 4 hours after using it ( with both monitor and camera plugged in it stopped syncing/ pairings and I could not use the monitor at all. Nothing I did seemed to help. I followed the directions to pair the camera and monitor and it didn't work either. So disappointed.
ive had it for one month now, and the audio cuts off and goes choppy frequently all night, as does the video. everything is connected and charged according to directions, so the only explanation is its not a good product and i should have just gotten a more expensive one.
This is the second Baby Pixel Cadet that we have had in the past 4 months. The first one worked for about a month, then the camera lost signal and would never reconnect. We tried the troubleshooting in the manual and also called Summer Infant and nothing worked. Summer Infant sent us a new monitor. Now we are having the same issue. It doesn't matter if we are in the same room with the camera and monitor, if the sound machine is off, nothing will connect. Super frustrating.
