The chocolatey flavor is so good, none of that funny aftertaste a lot of meal drinks have. It helps me get through the afternoon slump and quinches the craving for sweets!
Quick and easy for breakfast without spiking my glycemic index, so no worries. This one and vanilla are my favorites. Room temp is ok, but chilled is better. Recyclable container is a plus.
This shake is very nutritious - over 25 vitamins and minerals plus a good source of protein and even some fiber. It's not really thick and it does not have a bad after taste like some nutritional supplements. It has a very rich chocolate flavor that reminds me of some chocolate marshmallow pudding that used to be on the market! It also has carbs that are absorbed slowly, so it doesn't cause sugar spikes. That is very important for any diabetic. I use it as a breakfast, and we all have been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is especially true for diabetics who need to keep their sugars not only low, but also steady. I recommend it heartily!!
I LOVE it! It is the most chocolatey, delicious one on the market! Tastes like a chocolate milkshake without the thickness.
1 for breakfast keeps me full till lunch. its helped me drop some weight because of this. tastes great, not powdery taste, just like chocolate milk. i got the walmart brand this last time and its ok but still powdery taste. and 1 doesnt do me till lunch, of the walmart kind. diabetes you gotta try the gluserna.
I love this product. It does exactly what I need it to do for the nourishment of my body and it taste grest My doctors have seen a significant improvement in my lab work and I believe this product has helped me achieved that. alI will definitely continue to purchase this product. Asa Diabetic that has a a declining appetite, I've bought and relied on Glucerna Diabetic Shakes for many years now, and have recently, in the past 2 years ,watched the price of a 6 pack, go from $9 dollars, to $11 , to what it is now, today, at $12 dollars !! And no more can we , the consumer buy it in a case of 16, 8 oz bottles at the reasonable price of $23 plus dollars ! We cannot buy a case of 16 bottes at Walmart at all anymore, but we now are only given the option of buying it one six pack at time ! So, it now costs me, the Consumer, a whopping $24 plus tax, for only 12 8oz bottles , if buying it 2 , 6 packs at a time! Never did I think, as an almost senior, and a Diabetic that relies daily on Glucerna Shakes to stay healthy , that I would be spending more and more ..to where I am struggling to be able to still use it as a consumer ! And to be able to keep myself healthy as a Diabetic !! Your company has become less about helping your Customers that have been faithful to you as a company, and now I consider the makers of Glucerna, and Walmart to not be very customer oriented anymore.. but instead , you company is now only thinking about the almighty Dollar !!
I am homebound so buying things online and have them delivered is perfect for me. Not to mention that Walmart's price was the best I could find. As to the Glucerna shake. I am saving for a small fridge in my room because I can't always get to the kitchen so, the drinks may be even better cold or near frozen. But, even so, I find these shakes to be very tasty, filling and just right when I need a little something sweet to hold me over between meals or when a meal is not possible.
I am using this as a protein source because of digestive issues, I can't eat enough food to supply my protein needs. I have tried other products, but find this one to be the most palatable and has no chalky aftertaste. Additionally, this product is OK for use by diabetics like myself. Thanks for making the product a little more affordable -- almost 20 percent less than my chain supermarket. I have used it daily for a couple of weeks now and am OK with it so far. Yes, I would recommend it to others.
Glucerna is a great tasting supplemental drink for us diabetics and Walmart offers the best price. I wish they could keep their shelves better stocked however.
