I was so tired of having to buy batteries for my children , this product is awsome and i love that when they charge the batteries we know its charging because the light is a bright red and when done charging it turns green, It lets my children know that the batteries are ready for use !.
After buying so many conventional batteries I decided to go with the rechargeable batteries. They aren’t like they used to be. These are so much better and last as long as the conventional ones if not longer! The are good so that the landfills won’t be over run with the old ones. Just imagine. I’m not by any means liberal but do what I can when possible to save our Earth. The initial cost it worth it!
Energizer just gets better and better with their battery chargers. I have quite a few but this one seems to be the best. The giant light makes it much easier than before to identify when the charge is complete. I would definitely recommend this to others.
It took about 11 hours for me to charge the batteries initially. When I removed two batteries to use I was under the impression that the remaining batteries would indicate fully charged. (The light display being green) but it was was red indicating that the two remaining batteries needed to be charged. It took another 11 hours to charge those two batteries. This seems odd to me or maybe I misunderstood the procedure. Anyway the the first charged battery pair worked just fine.
I ordered these thinking I was ordering the ones that have a bigger charge. It was my mistake and I should have read the details before tossing them into my shopping cart online. They don't last as long ad the more expensive ones we own already and I'm not sure I can use them in the charger we have for the old ones (and vice versa) because when we tried it, it charged them but then when we went to take them off the charger they were unbelievably hot. I'd recommend spending the extra to get the better charger with a timer and the bigger charge batteries, but if you're in a pinch or are tight on cash, this may work fine for you.
Ordered the version that came with AAA batteries, but they didn't have it in stock so they substituted this for the one i wanted. it's not bad and i eventually found a use for them. Moral of the story: Order rechargeable batteries from somewhere else.
I've only hide mine a few months and the charger will not charge 4 batteries spontaneously like it should. When I try to charge 4 batteries the charger blinks red and doesn't charge the batteries. When I have two batteries in the charger the charger works fine with the light on the front staying red until charged than it turns green. Aka blink red means bad battery so walmart or someone is going to replace my order.
I give it a 2 star review because of the delivery. I was really disappointed in the way it was delivered from the store. My item was in a Walmart bag tied in a knot. And left up front as if I had brought it from the store and dropped it on my front porch myself. I was expecting it in a small box. This was going to be a Christmas gift for my son for his gaming controllers. I hope my daughter's gift doesn't arrive the same way. Or worse!
I bought this yesterday and I ignored the reviews because I have used a similar product before and it worked. I put this on charge for 12 hours and the green light never came. I'm returning for another because others say it works.
Had these 4 batteries in my device for less than 3 months and when I took them out to recharge them 3 of the 4 were discolored and leaked acid in my device. Had to clean the device to keep it from being ruined and had to throw the batteries away. Would have been less expensive to bought regular batteries.
