Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Facial Cleanser chief aim is to brighten dull skin and improve the texture and tone of one's skin. After a week of using this cleanser both day and night, I have noticed an increase in my skin's brightness. It has my skin with a glowing dewy look and it did not dry out my skin barrier. I am a mature woman and some cleansers strip my skin of the little moisture that I do have but this did not! It has my skin feeling so clean and soft to the touch. I can't wait to see the continued results I will see in the future from using this cleanser. This was my first time using an Aveeno face wash and it definitely wont be the last. The smell is amazing and I love the way it lathers even without using water when I apply it to my skin. I have found what works for me and will be recommending this product to my peers. I can't believe it is so reasonably priced!
I love this line of products. Like.. I am IN LOVE. I've only used it for a short time now and my skin's brightness and evenness has already significantly improved. I have bad cystic acne that is painful and I have sensitive skin, it's hard to find a skincare line that doesn't inflame my skin. I'm attaching some pics that show my skin and where my acne is healing and CALM after literally just now using these products. Other products seems to only inflame it. I've been using the Aveeno calming lotion for a long time now and it's really helped so I decided to try the rest of the line. I use this product as a daily facial cleaner. On days my skin feels inflamed, I use AnceFree cleanser and then this. If my skin feels layered with oil and dirt, sometimes I use the Aveeno brightening scrub instead of this. Then I follow with AcneFree Toner and once that soaks in I use Aveenos facial lotion, usually the one for calming skin. And if my skin is feeling like it's going to be oily that day, I use AcneFree lotion and then the Aveeno lotion after it's soaked in. I also use Aveenos 60 second shower facial if I neglected my skin care routine for a day or so. My skin is so beautiful now, I can't stop looking in the mirror..
I have used many products from many different brands. I wanted to change to another facial cleanser and I chose AVEENO. It is extracted from soybeans so it has a pleasant scent and feels refreshing. It lathers well leaving my skin clean and fresh, it feels extremely soft. In particular, it does not contain sulfates, does not cause allergies, it is suitable for all skin types, helps balance and moisturize the skin. Good price .
I love how gentle this cleanser is on my skin and takes all the oil and dirt without leaving my skin dry. I like the scent but for those sensitive to fragrances this cleanser may not be for you. I haven't noticed any brightening effects, but maybe that takes time.
This is a pretty good cleanser. I love a foaming cleanser, it saves a little bit of time not having to emulsify the cleanser. My only complaint is the scent. It has a very heavy scent. It does remove make up and SPF well. Don't forget to double cleanse.
This have always been my go to wash my skin has been really bad this summer and this the only thing I can find that helps it just wish it wasn't so pricey but it definitely worth it
I have combination skin type with dry cheeks. I like the cleanser as it doesn't leave a dry skin after the wash. The only cons about the product is that the pump is a bit hard to work with especially when my hands are wet.
I am a die-hard Clinique facial cleanser user, but decided to purchase this product after using it at my Mom's house. It has a nice consistency, comes in a pump dispenser, and has little to no fragrance (similar to Clinique). I enjoy it as much, and it's half the price. Winning!
I enjoy using this product as a second step cleanser. I use makeup wipes and I don't like the way my skin feels/smells afterward so I like using this. It's a gentle mild cleanser and it doesn't work by itself on a face of makeup. But it does work on oils, sweat, and dirt after a long day. The product has a pretty glowy sheen to it, so I don't know if that's what's supposed to give you a radiant brightened look, but I don't experience those kinds of results from this. I have combination skin that can be moderately sensitive and this cleanser has never caused any breakouts or irritation on my skin. I'd say this is a good product to have on hand.
I got this foaming cleanser to replace my cetaphil oil removing foaming face wash when I couldn't find it. This is very similar in that it's gentle on my skin, and leaves it feeling clean without drying it out. However this is not fragrance free and the scent it kind of strong. It's not a bad smell, it's like a fresh floral scent, it's just a little over powering and I prefer fragrance free.
